JIMIN's POV
"Taehyung-ah! Taehyung-ah!"
"What?" He replied with his eyes looking at his phone screen.
"I have a news for you!"
"Oh, really? And what is that?"
"Do you want the important news first or the not-so-important news first?"
"The not-so-important news first because your important news is probably not so important either."
"Tch, it's very important, you know. Anyways, the not-so-important news is that Mijoo asked me to hang out with her later at the cafe across the street!"
"I'm sorry, who is Mijoo again?" He asked, still without looking at me.
"The girl that I met in the supermarket, do you remember?"
"Ah, right, that angelic-faced girl you were talking about. Well, good luck with your first date."
I chuckled and I smacked his shoulder slowly. "Yah, it's not literally a first date. We're just going to hang out together after the bumping incident."
"Well, you still need a good luck for that," he said. "Anyways, what's the important news?"
"It's a very, very important news."
"How important is it?"
"It can make your eyes not looking at your phone screen anymore."
"Oh, yeah? Try it."
"I got Jaewoo's phone number."
Ha, I was right. Taehyung literally turned his head from the screen and looked at me very seriously.
"Mwo?!" He said in shock, almost turned into yelling to be exact. "You must be kidding me."
"Oh, you don't believe me? It's okay, I can delete the number and-"
"Yah, don't delete it. Of course I believe you. I mean, how did you get it? Is it from Jihae?"
"Yah, I don't even know Jeon Jaewoo. I mean, yes, I know him and Jihae obviously was the one who introduced us to him, but I don't really know him personally."
"Then, where did you get that number?"
"Namjoon gave me the number."
Taehyung raised his eyebrow. "Namjoon? How come? He said he only knew him as a senior. Our senior."
"Apparently, one of Jaewoo's friends is a friend of Namjoon's. I don't know how he got it, but he certainly got it from Jaewoo's friend, then he gave it to me."
A bright smile appeared on Taehyung's face. He jumped excitedly and he suddenly hugged me. "Gomawo, chimchim!!"
"Yah, yah, let go of me, punk."
He released his hug and looked at me cheerfully. I rolled my eyes as I chuckled, then I sent him Jaewoo's contact number via phone message.
"There, I sent it."
"Ah, I can't thank you enough, Jimin-ah."
"You can thank me by buying me an ice cream."
"Arraseo, I'll buy you one."
But then, that cheerful smile suddenly disappeared from his face after he checked the number I gave him. He looked down and heaved a sigh.
"Taehyung-ah, what's wrong?"
"I... still love her, Jimin-ah. I don't want to lose her again."
"What are you talking about?"
"What if Jihae has actually moved on, and she actually likes him now? This number is not useful anymore if those actually happened."
"Yah, Kim Taehyung. Don't lose your spirit like that. You still have to keep trying. Even if Jihae has actually moved on to him, at least you know about it, instead of assuming things that we don't know the truth yet."
He smiled bitterly. "Thanks for the advice, Jimin-ah. I'll use this number well."
I smiled. Then, I felt my phone buzzed. I picked up my phone from my pocket and saw a message notification from the angelic-faced girl, Mijoo.
"Taehyung-ah, Mijoo texted me that she has arrived at the cafe, is it okay if I leave now?"
"Yeah, of course. Don't make my problem to be your problem. Go and have fun with your angelic-faced girl."
"Thanks, Tae. I'll be going now," I said as I wes walking towards Taehyung's door house while waving my hand at him. He nodded and waved his hand back.
As soon as I opened the door, I stopped. "Hey, Tae."
"Yeah?"
"Even though we have fought numerous times, I still love you and I've never regretted you as my brother. Oh, and, your problem is actually my problem. So, please remember that you're never alone. I'm here for you," I said as I smiled.
"Gomawo."
I nodded, then I left the house.
TAEHYUNG's POV
As soon as Jimin left my house, I had a mental breakdown. Tears started to roam in both of my eyes as I felt insecure once again.
What should I do?
It's not that I was afraid to call Jaewoo. I was not a coward. It's just that I felt that it wasn't the right time yet to tell Jaewoo about me wanting Jihae back and I had no right to tell him to back off and not to get close with Jihae. Who knew if he actually liked her too?
I decided to pick up my phone to call someone. It was very out of my mind, but I had no other choice.
"Yeoboseyo, noona? It's Taehyung."
---A/N: Hi, guysss!! I'm very, very sorry for the late reply :( I've been really busy recently since I'm a 9th grader now. And I probably have to end this fanfic soon, so please look forward to the next chapters! Thank you!!
