Chapter 12

This hotel was the best I've ever stayed in! Jodie and I ended up playing mini golf. We stopped by one of the cafe's and had lunch.

"We should stay here more often!" I said.

"You know what we should do? We should have a girls weekend down here sometime!" Jodie suggested.

"OMG! And we could call Larns and Channie!" I added.

"Sounds like a plan," Jodie shook my hand.

"Do you wanna go pooling now? The boys should be back soon.

"Come on, we'll go get changed," We headed back upstairs. I got ready in my room. I slipped on a strapless bandeau bikini top and matching bottoms. I put on a jumpsuit for a cover up. Jodie came in wearing a white dress and a floppy hat.

"I'll text the boys to meet us at the pool," Jodie said. We walked down to the pool. It was gigantic! Lucky enough we snagged two deckchairs and we had the whole end of the pool to ourselves. We sunbaked until the boys came out.

"Have fun today girls?" Lenny asked us. He went over to Jodie who gave him a kiss.

"We played mini golf!" I exclaimed.

"Sounds like fun!" John said,"Well I'm ready for my swimming lesson!"

"Wheres the rest of the boys?" I asked taking off my jumpsuit.

"Taking a rest upstairs, some of the might join us a little later..." his voice trailed off and I caught him staring. I pushed him into the pool.

"Hey!" He yelled at me. He grabbed my leg and I fell in the water.

"What was that?!" I laughed.

"Payback!" John splashed me with water.

"Hey, I caught you staring at me," I splashed him back.

"Pfft, was not!" We splashed about until I called it truce. We shook hands.

"Come on, let's see if air John is fast in the water!" I hopped on his back and we were racing around the pool. He set me down on one of the steps of the pool. Now it was my turn to stare. The water was mid waist so I could see his highly defined abs. He pulled back his hair exposing his arm muscles. Wait?! What am I doing?! SNAP OUT OF IT BEC!

"Oi! Earth to Bec!" John waved his arms in front of me.

"Haha sorry, got into a bit of a daydream there!" John and I continued to splash around in the water. I noticed my fingers were starting to shrivel up like a prune.

"John! I'm turning old, I'm getting out now," I said showing him my fingers.

"Me too," he followed me to the deck chairs.

"Oh shoot, I forgot a towel," John muttered.

"Here use mine," I wrapped my towel around the both of us. His abs were on my stomach and I got that tingly feeling again.

"Geessh, close enough?" Lenny laughed.

"Not my fault he forgot his towel, and I'm cold," I laughed back at him.

I felt John wrap his arms around my waist. I quickly stepped out of the towel.

"I'm just gonna go back up to the room and dry off," I hurried back to the room.

Was I falling for John? And was he falling for me?
