Chapter 38 - Final Chapter

**Bec's POV**

"Happy birthday to you! Happy birthday to you!" I sang to Veronika on her birthday. She yawned and smiled. I sat next to her on her bed. She yawned and turned over and smiled.

"Happy birthday pumpkin," Emmanuel came in bearing breakfast. "Your favourite bubba," He smiled.

"Fairy bread!" She sat up and clapped her hands. She picked up the bread and ate it happily. She finished her fairy bread and Emmanuel picked her up.

"Come with us," He smiled. We lead her downstairs and we had decorated the lounge room pink. Pink feather boas, pink tinsel and pink streamers. I put a tiara on her head.

"A tiara for our princess," I kissed her cheek.

"Of course we didn't forget about your presents," I led her to the coffee table which was filled with presents. She slid off Emmanuel and ran to the coffee table ripping open her presents.

"Mummy! Daddy! I love all of my presents! THANK YOU!" She ran over to us giving us big hugs.

"Why don't you change into one of your new dresses? We're meeting Harley and his family in the park for lunch!"

She chose a pink dress with flowers on it. I combed out her hair and put her tiara in. She smiled when she looked in the mirror. I put a tiny bit of lip gloss on her. I put on her floral sandals and pranced down to Emmanuel.

"Daddy! Do you like my dress?!" She twirled around as he picked her up.

"Love it." he smiled.

"Ready babe?" Emmanuel called me.

"Coming!" I hopped down the stairs and got in the car. Eman strapped Veronika in and we drove to the park. Lenny, Jodie and Harley were standing at the barbecue.

"Happy birthday v!" Jodie squealed.

"Happy birthday gorgeous," Len picked her up and twirled her around.

"Veronika! Happy birthday!" The justice boys came running up to us.

"Thank you!" She screamed. Samson fired up the barbecue.

"Where's my granddaughter?!" Mum came into the barbecue area.

"Aunty Susie!" Veronika ran to mum. My mum had been so supportive. She would happily babysit when me and Eman went out. She would always bring over food for us.

"Hey mum," I kissed her on both cheeks.

"Sorry we're late everyone!" Emmanuels parents ran towards us.

"Mum! Dad!" Emmanuel went over to greet them.

"Hello sweetheart! Where's the birthday girl?!" His mum asked.

"Veronika, come say hello!" I motioned her to come over.

I picked up Veronika. My baby girl was in my arms, I had a wonderful husband by my side, all my closest friends were never going to leave... and best of all, my mum was here with me.

I regret nothing I've done in my life. Every decision I've made was for the better.

I couldn't have asked for a better life.
