Chapter 20

We travelled back to Sydney after that AMAZING trip to Melbourne. The boys had a show to do at Penrith that night. Jodie and I stayed home, we were so jetlagged. I let Jodie sleepover. We got into our pajamas and had a nice long talk.

"I can't believe you and Emannuel are engaged!" She shook my shoulder. I couldn't believe it myself!

"I know! But the worst part is planning it..." I looked down. Venue, food, entertainment, dress! It was so much to plan!

"Well I'm here to help!" Jodie smiled. I was so glad to have Jodie there.

"But wait... there's one small problem... what about your.. parents?" She whispered.

"I have to tell them, they're my parents... I'll call my dad, i'll go visit my mum in jail," I whispered back.

"Do you want me to come with you?" She asked. I nodded and she gave me a hug. This was the first time i bought up my parents. I didn't know how they were going to react.

Me and Jodie put on a movie, we both agreed on I am Number Four. We made popcorn and settled down infront of the tv. I must've fallen asleep during the movie because the light disappeared from my eyes and I heard Jodie say goodnight.

**Eman's POV**

I was kind of disappointed that Bec wasn't coming to the show tonight. It always gave me the extra confidence to do my best on stage. It was time to do the introductions. I was going to break the news to our fans.

"I'm Emmanuel Rodriguez, and i'm engaged to my beautiful girl Bec," I handed the mic to Lukas and everyone in the room was cheering.

"Give it up for Eman and Bec!" Lukas yelled into the microphone. Screams and cheers came from the audience. Some were saying congratulations and the others were just screaming with joy.

"Who's ready to see some more dancing?" Lukas asked the crowd. We busted into our new routine and Bec was on my mind.

Our performance ended and we finished the meet and greet.

"Congratulations Eman," a girl said to me.

"Thanks, it means a lot," she ran off screaming to her friends. I just wanted to get back to Bec! We finally finished up and Paulie drove us home. We opened the door quietly and found Jodie and Bec asleep on the couch. Popcorn was everywhere. I scooped Bec off the couch and carried her to our room. I set her down gently on the bed and tucked her in under the covers.

"Good night princess," I kissed her forehead and I went to go have a shower.

**Next Morning, Bec's POV**

I woke up in my room. Eman must've carried me up here. I turned around and saw Eman in a deep sleep. Manny was in his hands. I sighed at the cute sight. I decided to let him sleep, he must be exhausted.

"Hey Jods, sleep well?" I asked.

"Actually yeah! Do you mind driving me back to Len and Johns?" she asked.

"Not on an empty stomach! Have some breakfast! I'm making waffles,'" 

"Awh right i'll stay," I made the batter and poured it in the waffle maker. I made 2 waffles for each of us. I got whipped cream and strawberries from the fridge and decorated our plates all fancy like. I got maple syrup and chocolate sauce and set them on the  table.

"DIG IN!" I said. We both ate our waffles and Paulie came down. Shirtless. I know I was with Eman but boy was he attractive.

"Where's my waffles?!" he pleaded like a little boy.
