Chapter 15

Little did I know...that day was the following afternoon. I was awakened by the sound of a soft tap at the door which grew continually louder until it eventually turned into a repeated loud rapping at the door which finally made me realize my surrounding and hop out of bed.

I opened the door. 'Yes?' My hair was like a rats nest, my voice as raspy as cardboard.
