Raver's Fantasy

Chapter 5

Since Nikki and her ex boyfriend Josh had broken up, Josh had been going out partying and had met another girl called Jennifer while at a club one night. Jennifer was out with her friend when Josh started talking to her on the dance floor and they ended up dancing together and swapping numbers.

Jennifer worked for a supermarket part time whilst studying social care at college and didn't have as much time to go out clubbing as much as Josh did but Josh had managed to introduce her to ecstasy and she too had felt the same experience that Bradley had felt. She and Josh hadn't been together too long and although she did want to trust him, she sometimes worried that he might meet another girl or he would get bored of her and this was something she used to talk to her cousin named Michelle about.

'He does seem to like me but then he goes out nearly every weekend, I don't even know how he seems to manages to afford it,' said Jennifer to Michelle when Michelle came to visit.

'I wouldn't worry about it,' replied Michelle 'if he likes you then he won't do anything with anyone else, he is lucky to have you,'

'Sometimes I think still has feelings for his ex though,' added Jennifer 'I am sure that I have seen a text from her on his phone, not that I was checking or anything,'

'It's never a good idea to check your boyfriends phone, I have made that mistake before,' joked Michelle 'did you see what she said to him?'

'Not really, I don't think he replied to it, he says that sometimes she texts him but he ignores her,'

Jennifer was also eighteen years old and lived at home with her parents and her older brother. She had brown hair and blue eyes and a round face which sometimes made her look younger than she really was. She was also a kind person who was easy to take advantage of and most of her past relationships had been short lived although she longed to find a nice boyfriend who would make her happy. She did enjoy the time that she spent with Josh but she would still worry about him and would find herself feeling disappointed whenever she would check her phone to see that Josh hadn't contacted her so she was always the one who would make the arrangements to see him.

Josh however was thinking about going to a rave called The Spring Weekender and was discussing it with his friend Martin whom he had known for years.

'What do you think of the Spring Weekender? It's going to be a big rave!' he said to Martin excitedly while he was round Martin's house 'Goes on for two nights as well, you think you can handle it?'

'Count me in, boss!' agreed Martin 'Might have to get some beans in stock,' he said referring to ecstasy tablets.

'Good man! Have you heard of these new pills? Sovereigns of something, they are said to be good,' added Josh as Martin rolled a cigarette.

'Not heard of them myself,' replied Martin 'Who do you know that has done them?'

'The ex texted me the other night, she told me she was buzzing her tits off on these sovereigns,' explained Josh.

'You don't still talk to her do you?' asked Martin causally.

'Just now and then, she has a new boyfriend now anyway so I heard,' replied Josh feeling slightly envious as he had since heard that Nikki had been going out of Bradley through gossip.

'Anyway, you have a nice bird now,' Martin reminded Josh.

'Yeah, I know, I wouldn't get back with Nikki anyway,' said Josh as he started rolling up a cigarette for himself.

'Things good with you both?' asked Martin.

'Not bad, but sometimes I feel that she is a bit too much of a good girl,' laughed Josh.
