#2 of 4 Special - The Mystery Behind The Tape Recorder

--Keith's POV--

"Have any idea of who it is?" Emment asked and Keith shrugged. Both of them were walking down to the library. It was 9:55 in the morning. Both of them finally made it and decided to kill time by looking around. 5 minutes past and Miracle came walking into the library. Keith grabbed Emment's arm and both of them hid behind the book case.

"What is she doing?" Emment asked and Keith shrugged.

"I don't know...maybe...leaving something like the note Luke dropped" Keith says and he saw something.

Luke was there too. Miracle and Luke were together and they were talking.

"Lets get closer to them" Emment suggested and Keith nodded. When they gotten closer to them, they were able to hear them talking.

"Your a great actress Miracle, the way you cried in front of me when I came back home and slapped Vanessa" He smiles.

"Shut up Luke...she's my best friend...so don't talk about her...I should have never married you.." 

"Shut up" He whispered harshly.

"Look, I found a chick that can end our relationship...you said you wanted a divorce..."

"I am not going to divorce you Luke...never...Besides..your the father and thats the reason why I stayed by your side. What happened to the Luke I used to like..the one who was with Vanessa...why did you do all of those horrible things Luke"

"The lady will come around our house in a couple of hours, she will have you write the forms and she will come to me after your done. I want to be happy Miracle but I have been busy lately and I don't want your baby to have a father who is busy all the time" 

Luke ignored her.

"Our baby.." Miracle mumbled and he nodded.

"Thats all" He says and leaves. Shortly after he left, Miracle leaves.

....

"Woah...drama" Keith scoffed and Emment chuckled.

"Stupid girl" a voice growled quietly.

Keith and Emment kept looking until they saw the girl who had long dirty blonde hair. She was wearing shorts and a blue tank top. Her skin was white as snow. Keith's eyes widen and his body started to move automatically towards her until Emment stopped him.

"Wait" Emment whispered.

"That idiot girl thinks she can have him all to herself. She doesn't know that we made out at the grocery store and all sorts of things. I hate seeing them together...but don't worry..i'll make sure she has the divorce...besides...i'm his lawyer" She smiles and leaves.

"Sweet, we got information about whats happening" Emment blurted out but covered his mouth. He looked at Keith and his eyes were still widen.

"Yo Keith, are you dead or something?" He says and Keith looks closer to the spot she was at. There was a letter inside the book. Keith pulled out the book and opened the letter.

"I'm sometimes white and always wrong.
I can break a heart and hurt the strong.
I can build love or tear it down.
I can make a smile or bring a frown."

Keith reads and Emment was confused.

"Its a riddle...I hate these things!!" He punched the book and it dropped and something else is in it.

"Look...another letter" Keith grabs the letter and reads.

"What is something that can break your heart easily but you can't see it?"

Also reads...

"I had this feeling before when I met you Keith"

"Keith..your name is in it!!" Emment blurted out.

*SSSSSHHH*

"Sorry..."

"I knew it....I know who she is" Keith says. Keith and Emment decided to leave the library and went back home and wait till everyone came here. Megan and Jackson came back with their baby, Ally, and Keith filled them with the information they had discovered and talked about. 

"I wonder who it is?" Megan exclaimed

"This really is a mystery!!" Jackson agreed.

Everyone came back from their jobs. It was already 3pm in the afternoon.

Keith and Emment gave them information about what they discovered. Keith didn't look so good. He was pale and kept rubbing his head.

"Keith, whats wrong?" Amelia noticed.

"Yeah, you've been acting weird ever since that girl appeared." Emment confessed.

"Really...but lets focus on the riddles and let Keith rest" Oscar suggested.

"These two riddles I have heard before but not the 3rd riddle....wait a minute!!" Claude grabbed his pencil and notepad and began writing something.

He finished what he wrote and showed it to everyone. 

"Oh my god...I am so stupid!!" Derek announced.

"Not surprised but look at that!!!" Brad gasp.

"The first riddle...the answer was LIE...the second riddle...the answer was WORDS...the third riddle..is LOVE"  

"Wait...words hurt Miracle..what about action?" Emment questioned.

"Guys..I know we've been hating on Miracle but come on..she pregnant..she is going through a phase of the cycle of life" Scott says but everyone ignores him.

"LIE..WORDS..LOVE...what do they mean?" Brad says and Claude snaps his fingers.

"Yes, what do they mean"

"Your weird.." Brad whispers.

"Well, I heard from a saying...have you heard of  Big or small, lies are lies?" Claude says and Keith nods.

"Yeah...I heard about that from her" He confessed and everyone gasp.

"Her..you mean the girl we saw!!" Emment's voice was rising.

"Yeah...I know who she is" Keith continued.

"I remember back at high school, we met in front of the school, she dropped her books and I offered to pick them up for her. Like in those romance movies, she always wanted to become a lawyer to have enough money...she always put her hair into a pony tail for me because I always it was cute. She left me because her dad found a job at New York. I guess she wanted to try long distance, we tried that for a little bit but it failed. I remember her last words she told me when she broke up with me...she said "I love you but your words hurt me because they reminded me of a lie you told me back at high school" I remember that she caught me with a girl I knew...She thought I was cheating on her but good thing Vanessa explained everything. She put on her Facebook page sad quotes. Big or small, lies are lies...yep..its her" Keith ended.

"You know who it is!!" Derek screams!!

"Yeah....Its Janet..my ex-girlfriend"
