Chapter #9-A Date At Home

A month has past and it was already December 1st. Vanessa and Adam cuddling and watching TV. They saw an advertisement about a couple having a date at home. Vanessa couldn't help but admire the idea and she turned her head to ask Adam.

"Do you want to try that?" Vanessa said and pointing at the screen.

"Huh? do you want to?" Adam asked.

"Yeah, it looks fun and relaxing!" Vanessa said.

"Okay, I have a day off tomorrow" Adam said.

"Me too!" Vanessa said.

"Okay, lets have our second date tomorrow" Adam grinned.

"Okay!" Vanessa replied.

When they went to bed, Vanessa couldn't help but stay awake. She was super excited about tomorrow that when Adam was deeply asleep. Vanessa got up and grabbed a pencil and paper. She went to the living room turned on the lights. She was writing on the paper what she planning to do.

"Okay, i'll make chocolate chip cookies and hot chocolate and we'll watch a TV show together" Vanessa giggled to herself and folded the paper and left it on the coffee table and went to bed.

-Next Morning-

Vanessa was the first one to wake up and quickly brushed her teeth and her hair. She went to the kitchen and grabbed the ingredients and rushed to make it. She was making cookies first and then when she put the cookies in the oven, Vanessa went ahead and make hot chocolate for her and Adam. When she heard the timer ringing. She turned it off and she was in the rush, that she forgot to wear mittens to take out the tray.

"Ow!" Vanessa screamed and she dropped the tray, with luck, the cookies didn't fall. She heard someone rushing to her.

"Are you okay!" Adam yelled and went over to Vanessa.

"You burned yourself! we have to put ice on this!" Adam panicked and went to the fridge to get the ice.

"But the cookies..." Vanessa pouted.

"I don't care about that right now! your hurt" He said and pushed Vanessa to the living room and made her sit on the couch.

"Stay right here, i'll go pick up the cookies so we can eat." Adam said and went to pick up the cookies until he spotted a piece of paper on the coffee table.

"Whats this?" Adam mumbled to himself.

He opened the piece of paper and it read.

"Couldn't sleep! excited about tomorrow's date with Adam! he so sweet! I'll make chocolate chip cookies and hot chocolate and we'll watch TV! I can't wait!"

Adam chuckled and saw Vanessa pouting and looking upset. He grabbed the tray from the floor by picking it up with his sleeves. He picked the cookies and put them on a clean plate. He placed them on the tray, along with the hot chocolate. He carried them to Vanessa and she was still upset. Until he realized she wasn't wearing her bracelet.

"Hey, where's your bracelet?" Adam asked.

"What?...Oh! I forgot, I'll go wear it" She said and left the room.

He turned on the TV and turned off the lights. He put a few candles on the table and lit them up. He sat on the floor and waited for her. She came back with the bracelet around her wrist. Adam grabbed the blanket behind him and unfold it.

"Come sit in front of me" He said and saw that Vanessa was turning red.

"Huh?" Vanessa said shyly.

"Come sit in front of me" Adam smiled and patted the floor in front of him. She walked towards him and sat in front of him. He wrapped himself with the blanket and then covered Vanessa. Adam grabbed Vanessa's forehead and made her lay her head on his left shoulder.

"This feels nice" He whispers in Vanessa's ear.

Adam grabbed one cookie and started eating three of them and drinking his warm hot chocolate and also did Vanessa. When they finished drinking hot chocolate, they started watching stupid romance channels. Surprisingly, Adam was getting into it and wanted to watch more.

"Man, Why did she say no even though she liked him?" Adam asked but Vanessa didn't answer.

"Vanessa?" He said and looked at her. She had fallen asleep with cookie crumbs on her face.

Adam chuckled and wiped away the cookies crumbs and saw her sleepy face. He kissed her head and then laid his head on her and yawned.

"What a perfect date" He said and fallen asleep on her head.

--Later at Night--

Vanessa woke up in Adam's arms and rubbed her eyes.

"Aww...its over" Vanessa pouted and she gotten but...

"Ack!" Vanessa screamed and Adam was on top of her and pinned both of her arms.

"Adam??!!" Vanessa said and she saw Adam's smirk.

"The date is over but I am just beginning our next date" He said gently and as he was saying it. He started unbuttoning his shirt and showing his six pack.

"W-Wait a minute!" Vanessa panicked

"No! I had enough waiting around" Adam smirked again.

His face was moving closer to Vanessa's face but then..

*knock* *knock*

"Who is it?" Adam got off of Vanessa and button back his shirt.

When he went to the front door. No one was there but when he looked down.

"What the heck?" Adam screamed.

"What is it Adam?" Vanessa asked and saw what he saw.

A little baby girl, in its carriage and sleeping peacefully with a note attached to it.
