She knew she had to wait
Wait until she felt.
The snow fall in her tummyTheir eyes met.
She had felt this before
Nonetheless it seemed new,
For she had gotten used
To the regulars. It was hard at first
To dig beneath the layers of her soul.
To bring back the flush of feelings
For her mind had turned morbid
With the lack of spontaneity. The signs were mixed
For she herself was confused.
But he had the most beautiful eyes.
Eyes that reminded her of her blissful days of love.
The days that turned into years once.
The years she had to give away. But this, she felt sure of.
The rush of adrenaline
The rush of love
The need for time
The time to build
The time to live a life together.
