With the pouring rain, came the z in the sky.
The heavy drops fell upon the people in the dark,
Helpless, struggling delivery boys running hither and thither.
Room enveloped in darkness
The blanket meekly covering my bare legs
I tossed and turned in my bed.
Could not sleep.
Peeped outside through my bedroom window,
Saw the beauty in the beastly downpour.
Sleep had become merely a dream
Without him around.
Tried to convince myself that it was going to be alright,
when morning comes.
But there lay the entire night.
Ego hurt.
But the situation hurt me more.
Solved it multiple times.
But only in the head.
There he stood
At my bedroom door
My head hung.
We did not utter a word.
But lay side by side.
Tried to figure out what was wrong
But could not bring it to words.
One word from him and my eyes welled up.
Still could not speak.
The world spoke for us
What we did not speak.
My world I got back.
In the arms,I slept again
Just like an infant.
The outside world no longer mattered.
My shelter I had.
