Shawn's POV:
My phone has been on silent since the day she left. No words could be said. I loved her but she lied. She used me for her game. She used me as a piece of her and her mothers game. All royals were awful, no matter where they are from. I remember the day like it was yesterday. It replays in my head every second of everyday. I ran home in the rain and ran into my room. I slammed the door and fell onto my bed. I laid there in my wet clothes until my mother came in and hugged me. I cried myself to sleep in her arms and she let me, without asking questions. I remember that stupid letter she left, she left a letter like a coward. She didn't want to face me, she didn't want to face the reality that she broke me.
That damn letter.
The damn fücking letter.
Dear Shawn,
Before I met you, I wasn't sure if love existed. Thank you for showing me it does. I love you Shawn and as much as it hurts to know you don't love me, I hope you find happiness someday. I'm sorry that I had to lie to you Shawn, about who I was but I didn't lie about anything I told you. I meant every word I said and I mean every one now. I hope someday you can forgive me. You won't have to worry about me anymore, I've decided to go home. It's what is best for me and my country. I don't belong here, like you said and you were right. I don't, I belong in Denmark where I am the princess, I'm sorry that you couldn't except that. Maybe someday we'll see each other and be able to put this past us, but for now I wish you all the best. I will never forget you Shawn.
Yours Truly,Alyssa
That stupid stupid letter.
