"I'm thinking of an animal...." Hinata was ahead of Kageyama, about ten minutes after they had left the house.

"You're going to have to give me hints." Kageyama said, looking at Hinata.

"Hm...uh....it flies? It's black." Hinata said, making it vague as possible.

"Woooooow." Kageyama scoffed. "Crow."

"Mmhm." Hinata admitted defeatedly, running a small hand through his hair.

"My turn?" Kageyama asked, cocking his head slightly.

He nodded simply, and Kageyama thought of an animal.

"You're not going to get this one, but..." Kageyama smirked a tiny bit. It was a narwhal.

"I hate to be that person, but give me hints."

"It has a horn." Kageyama answered. "And lives underwater."

"Uh...I dunno..." Hinata was quiet.

"Usually gray. I don't think they're any other colors." Kageyama knew he had stumped Hinata.

"I'm not that smart, Kageyama!"

"Just try." The setter crossed his arms.

"Uh...is it big?" Hinata cocked an eyebrow, pausing.

"Medium size, I've never seen one, so..."

"Narwhal."

"How'd you get it that quickly?!" Kageyama seemed quite surprised.

"Intuition." Hinata giggled.

"Whaaaatever, dumbass."

"So does that make me smarter than you..?"

He scoffed, rolling his eyes. "Definitely not."

"So Kageyama." Hinata changed the subject.

"Yeah?"

"When you said you liked me...?" Hinata cocked an eyebrow.

"Now you're just being cocky, dumbass." Kageyama blushed softly. "Let it go."

"Are we dating?" Hinata stepped in front of Kageyama, blocking his path with his own body.

"C-Can I hold your hand?"

This seemingly innocent comment startled Kageyama. Had he ever held hands with someone? His parents, of course, but...

"Go ahead, I guess..." He mumbled, and the short boy smiled widely, linking hands with the taller one.

A knot in Kageyama's chest did a little flip, and he felt a slight shiver go through his body.

Of course, Hinata didn't notice this, and was busy staring down at their linked hands, blushing intensely.

"Are you going to look that much like an idiot every time I hold your hand?" Kageyama asked, looking down at Hinata.

He stared up, a deep blush on his cheeks.

"...it feels different." He finally answered, staring at the ground.

Kageyama didn't respond, and kept walking.

"Different, like...." Hinata held a hand out and clenched it. "I can't describe it."

"Try to." Kageyama replied.

"So..uh...it's like...I feel complete. N-Not like in a weird way, of course, I was complete before, but...I'm bad at explaining things, Kageya-"

His words were cut off by Kageyama's lips on Hinata's, his eyes as wide as saucers.

Kageyama was just as surprised as Hinata, and he broke the kiss.

"W-WHAT WAS THAT?!" Hinata was extremely surprised, as well as as alarmed.

"I-I honestly don't know!" Kageyama stuttered, pausing.

"W-Well you did it!!" Hinata sputtered, running both hands through his orange hair.

"D-Dumbass!" Kageyama growled.

Hinata couldn't reply.

"I-I'm sorry if that wasn't consensual, by the way..." Kageyama added after about six minutes of them stupidly standing on the sidewalk, neither saying anything.

"I-It's o-okay..."

"I mean, I did say I'd take you by surprise." Kageyama answered, justifying his reasons.

(If there even were any, that is.)

Hinata began to laugh softly, eventually turning into a cute, happy little laugh.

Kageyama blushed a tiny bit, rolling his eyes. "Tch." He muttered.

Hinata looked up at him, scrunching his face. "You're silly, Kageyama."

"Well, u-uh, your face is dumb."

Yes, Yamaguchi may have been stalking two specific Karasuno volleyball players.

But it definitely wasn't for any bad reasons, of course. He was only trying to get some dirt on the pair to get even.
That wasn't that bad, right?

And secondly, because a particular blonde told him to. But he'd do anything for Tsukki!

And it seemed right now, that Yamaguchi was winning. He quickly took out his phone and snapped three pictures of them kissing—

And the flash was on.

"Ah, crap!" He whispered, covering the camera. He hoped the two didn't see. His face was flushed now as he watched Hinata lift his head to make eye contact with Yamaguchi.

Don't see me, don't see me, he wished.

Unfortunately for the poor Tadashi Yamaguchi, it seemed like things weren't to work out in his favor, as Hinata sprang forward suddenly.

Think FAST, Tadashi!, he wanted to scream. However, he didn't have a great set of motor skills, and Hinata Shouyou collided with the boy.

Oops.
