The next morning Kris woke up alone in bed. He sat up and looked around seeing no Tao. He turned and looked at the time, six thirty in the morning.

He let out a yawn as he got out of bed, heading to the kitchen. When he walked in he saw Tao cooking in the Kitchen.

Kris walked up to him and pressed a kiss to the top of his head. Tao turned and flashed him a smile. "What are you doing so early in the morning?" "Making breakfast." "I thought I told you you're not aloud to cook without me?"

Tao chuckled, mixing the scrambled eggs before turning back to Kris. "You were sleeping plus its just scrambled eggs and toast."

Kris did the okay motion before he started the coffee.

"What time does Chen need to be at school?" Tao had covered the finish eggs and left the loaf of bred beside the toaster. "Before eight. I'll be able to pick him up today. I'll ask to see if he could take the bus home and see if Huan could attend there for preschool."

Tao nodded. "I'll look for preschools near by too just in case." Kris nodded, sitting back as he ran a hand through his hair.

Tao couldn't stop the smile growing on his face. He felt like a parent and it felt pretty good.

Around seven was when Tao had walked to the kids room and began to wake Chen up. Tao smiled as he carefully sat beside a sleeping Chen.

He softly brushed back his hair, lightly shaking his shoulder. Chen slowly woke up, turning to look up at tao. Tao stood up and motioned for Chen to follow him.

Chen slowly got up and followed Tao out to the kitchen.

Kris looked up and gave Chen a smile, bidding him good morning as he got a plate ready for him. "Morning." Chen mumbled sleepily.

Kris chuckled, placing the plate in front of the boy. "Eat up then go get dressed okay, I'll drop you off." Chen nodded and began to eat.

"Is Huan still asleep?" Tao nodded. He headed back to the toaster to put the toast in to toast.

"Will Huan be staying home?" Chen asked, after finishing his first bite.

"Yes, he'll be staying home with Tao for a while." Kris finished up his breakfast and placed the dishes in the sink.

"I'll be back." Kris ruffles Chen's hair as he walked by, heading to his bedroom to change out of his pajamas.

Tao placed the finish toast on a plate and set it on the table, in front of Chen, also placing the jelly on the side.

"Chen gege?" A sleepily Huan walked in, his fist rubbing his eye.
Chen turned and smiled, waving his brother over to sit beside him.

When Tao walked back to the table with a cup of juice for Chen in hand, he smiled as he saw a sleepy looking Huan sitting beside Chen.

He pressed a kiss to the top of the small boys head before carefully placing the cup down in front of Chen.

Kris walked back into the kitchen a few minutes later, saying good morning to Huan. "Do you want scrambled eggs for breakfast Huan?" Kris asked as he sat back down at the table with another cup of coffee to go.

Huan nodded, eyes finally open as he sat back in the chair. Kris stood up and walked over to Tao, letting him know what Huan wanted.

Tao nodded and started to cook. "Do you remember Yixing, Huan?"

The little boy shook his head. "Tao's brother?" Kris asked, the little boy nodded. Slightly remembering.

"He'll be coming by soon to help watch you okay?" The boy nodded. He mumbled a thank you as his brother handed him a jam covered toast.

"What time will Yixing be by?" Kris asked, watching as Tao placed the finished egg on a plate for Huan.

"Not too long. He said around seven twenty." Kris nodded as he told Chen to go get dressed while he grabbed the dirty dishes and set them in the sink.

Tao stayed in the kitchen, making himself a meal while Kris helped Chen get ready. Helping him brush his teeth and styling his hair.

"Alright." Kris smiled, patting the small boys head. "Go get your bag and we'll head out."

Chen nodded and ran to the bedroom. The two walked back to the kitchen to say goodbye before heading off.

"I'll see you later on. I love you." Tao smiled, pecking Kris's lips. "I love you too."

Once Chen finished saying goodbye to his little brother, Tao walked over to Chen, kneeling down and giving him a hug and a kiss on the head.

"Have a good day." Kris smiled, letting Chen know what Tao said. Chen smiled, hugging Tao's waist before giving him a wave as he walked out with Kris.

Tao had placed his meal on the table, getting ready to eat when Huan grabbed his hand.

Tao looked down, giving him a small smile. Huan tugged his hand as he headed to the living room.

Tao followed and watched as Huan hopped on the couch and pointed to the tv, a smile on his face.

Tao nodded with a smile as he turned on the tv, turning it to the cartoon channel.

He put one cartoon show and turned to Huan giving him a thumbs up or down. Huan stared at the tv for a moment then gave Tao a thumbs down.

Tao turned to a different one and got the same answer.

Four channels later, he finally got a thumbs up. Tao placed the remote on the coffee table before heading back to the kitchen to eat.
