Kris worked in the music industry. He helped artist with writing lyrics or making a good beat.

He enjoyed his job. He even got to work with a few of his favorite rap artists.

Kris sat in one of the black rolling chairs, reading the lyrics as he listened to the finish track.

His head slightly bobbing to the beat. Once the song finished, he looked up at the young boy who was just starting out as a rapper.

"You got talent. This will be a big hit man." The boy smiled and bowed. "Thank you."

"Alright. Well let's take a break and we'll continue with adding a few things to the track." The boy nodded before saying goodbye to go grab lunch.

"I'll be back." Kris informed one of his co-workers. "Alright." They replied, eyes glued to the screen of the computer as they made sure to save everything. 

Kris made his way to the elevator and waited. He pulled out his phone and decided to see how Tao was doing.

Once the doors opened, he walked in and hit the lobby button. His phone buzzed in his hand. He smiled as he read the message.

Everything is good! We're on our way to the mall. Wish you were here! :(

Kris chuckled.

I'm glad to hear. Wish I was there too. I miss you all :)

Kris walked through the doors of the police department. He walked to the front desk and waited for one of the officers to talk to him.

"Hello, what can I do for you?" An older man smiled as he walked over to Kris.

"Yesterday, my fiancée and I had found two little boys outside in the cold. They told us they ran away from their parents."

"Alright, well. What are the kids names?" The man spoke and clicked away on the computer.

"Well.. My fiancée and I don't know much about the boys. Only that their names are Chen and Huan."

The man gave him a nod. "Alright. Well we can do a small questioning? We can get the kids names and find their parents on the data base."

"Really? When can I come back?" "How about tomorrow? Just asked for officer Park." Kris nodded and thanked the man before leaving.

Yixing and Junmyeon had dropped Tao and the two kids off back home. Tao thanked the two before walking inside with the many bags.

Tao walked to the guest room and placed the bags of clothes and toys on the floor.

Tao walked to the living room to find the two sitting on the couch. Huan playing with one of his toys and Chen turning on the tv.

Tao made his way to the kitchen to place the grocery bags on the counter and began to put the stuff away. He grabbed the bath bubbles, toothbrushes and tooth paste for kids and placed those in the bathroom.

He walked back out and grabbed the notepad and pencil. He wrote a message for Chen and held it up for him.

"Should we watch some movies in the room?" Chen asked Huan who stood up and smiled widely as he nodded. Tao waved for them to follow him up to his and Kris' bedroom.

He turned on the TV as he looked through the shelves to look for a movie. Huan and Chen jumped on the bed and got comfy.

Tao chose a kid movie, Peter Pan. After slipping the cd into the DVD player, Tao laid beside the two and pressed play.

It was getting darker and the movie was just about to end. Tao glanced over at Huan and Chen to see them both sound asleep.

He smiled as he slowly sat up and looked at the time on his phone.

7:36pm

Kris should be home any minute. Tao stood up and made his way out to the kitchen to grab something to eat.

He felt his phone vibrate in his back pocket. He pulled it out as he grabbed instant noodles.

I'm home~

Tao smiled as he rushed to the front door where Kris was slipping off his shoes.

Tao smiled as he wrapped his arms around Kris neck, pecking his cheek.

Kris chuckled as he wrapped his arms around Tao's waist, also pressing a kiss to Tao's temple.

"Welcome home." "Where are the boys?" Kris slipped off his coat and hug it up.

"They fell asleep. They're in our room." Kris nodded and followed Tao to the kitchen.

Tao continued to make the instant ramen. After the pot was left to boil, Tao put the ramen inside along with the powdered flavor and let it boil.

"Did you visit the police department today?" Tao signed as he sat down across from Kris.

Kris nodded. "Tomorrow I'll get off of work early and we'll all go. They're going ask them a few questions so they can search for their parents."

Tao nodded. A bit saddened that they'll be leaving soon. He didn't want them to leave. He enjoyed having them around but he understood that their parents might be worried.

Kris stood up and walked over to the pot and opened the lid, letting the steam flow out.

Kris turned to Tao with a smile. "It's finished." Tao smiled as he stood up to grab bowls.

"Let's hurry and eat. I'm sleepy." Tao signed after he placed the bowls on the table while Kris placed the pot on the pot holder on the table.

I wasn't sure what job to give Kris lmao but I didn't want it to be like a CEO or an office worker lol
