_____________________________Cas walked quickly down the corridor, his head down to avoid eye contact as usual.
As he walked He began to notice a large group of students stood by his locker. As he got closer the boys began to whisper, poking one another and pointing in Cas' direction.
He soon realised it was Crowley in the centre of the group, which wasn't surprising. Cas opened his locker door, hiding behind it in hope they'd leave. They didn't.'Faggot.' The boy leading the group pushed past Cas' locker door, smacking it into the side of his head.
Cas held his throbbing ear and slammed his locker shut before running down the corridor in the opposite direction, fighting back the tears.
He pushed open the bathroom door with one hand, the other still held against his ear as he ran to the mirror.
He was now alone which was good, he didn't want anyone to see him tearing up.
Grabbing a hand full of tissues he ran into a cubicle, placing the toilet seat down before sitting on it and closing the door.
His tears were now uncontrollable. His cheeks wet and his eyes misty. It seemed silly to cry over something so stupid, he was still unsure why he had begun to cry but now could not stop himself. His ear didn't particularly hurt anymore despite the blood pooling in his palm.
Placing his head in his hands he began to ball, dropping the tissues allowing the remaining blood to trickle down his cheek.
After a few moments Cas was interrupted by a knock on the cubicle door.
'Go away.' He sobbed, no longer attempting to hide his tears. No one spoke, yet Cas could see a pair of feet at the bottom of the door.
'I said go away!'
'Cas? Is that you?' The knocking continued.
It was Dean. Crap.
Cas sniffled now trying to be as silent as possible in hope Dean might leave. He didn't want him to see him like this.'Cas?' He continued,
The blood on his ear now dry on his cheek, he began wiping his face with his sleeve.
'Open the door Cas.'
'Go away Dean.'
He had regretted saying this as soon as it escaped his mouth, Dean had done nothing wrong.
'Cas please.' He continued, 'Tell me what's wrong.'
The bathroom was now silent, neither wanting to speak first.
Cas took a deep breath before unlocking the door, the sound of the lock causing Dean to step back slightly.
Cas sunk into Deans arms, the familiar smell of leather comforting him.
'What's wrong?' Dean looked down at Cas, his hand running through his thick black hair, 'Tell me.'Cas looked up, his glasses slanted on his face, Not saying a thing.
Dean removed his hand from Cas' face tilting his cheek slightly, 'You're bleeding!' Dean inspected Cas' face, 'What happened?''It's nothing.' Cas began, 'Really it's not as bad as it looks.'
'What happened?' Dean persisted, 'Tell me.'
'It was just some stupid guys, don't worry.'
'Don't worry?' Dean yelled, realising his tone as soon as the words escaped his lips.
Cas looked at the ground not wanting to speak.'Sorry for yelling.' Dean grabbed a hand full of tissues as he spoke.
A tear trickled down Cas' face before immediately being wiped with his sleeve.
'Wait, was this Crowley?'
Cas remained silent as Dean wiped the dry blood from his face, staring him in the eyes waiting for his reply.
'It was, wasn't it?' Cas nodded silently'I'll kill him.'
Deans attempt to stay calm had failed and he was now red hot with anger as he threw the tissues into the trash.
'Just leave it Dean.' Cas mumbled, 'It's fine.'
'Fine? How is this fine? You're hurt Cas and it's not fair. Not fair that he should get away with something like this!' Dean cupped Castiels face with both hands, staring into his deep blue eyes.'This won't stop, Dean. Not of it will.'
'You don't have to go through this alone Cas' Dean pleaded, 'Let me help you.'
Cas finally gave in nodding again as Dean picked up his bag from the floor, flinging it over his shoulder and taking Cas' hand.'Hey!' Dean yelled down the corridor.
Students turned and watched as Dean marched towards an unsuspecting Crowley.
'What's your problem?' He pushed past The boys surrounding Crowley, who stepped back in fear as they saw the rage in Deans eyes.'What do you want Winchester?' Crowley mocked, looking around at his friends
'I want you to leave Castiel alone.'
'Oh did I hurt your little boyfriend?' He laughed, adjusting the collar of his coat.
'Yes. You did.'
The corridor became almost silent as students stood and watched the smug expression on Crowleys face fade.'Too bad.'
'Listen, I'll make this clear. Either you leave Castiel alone or I'll beat the crap outta you.'
This seemed to be hilarious to Crowley who began laughing as he passed his bag to a boy stood nearby.Crowley swing his arm in the air, skimming Deans face as he ducked out of the way. Charging into Crowley, Dean grabbed his waist to tackle him to the ground.
The fight continued for a good five minutes before teachers intervened, both boys grabbed and taken opposite ways.
'You're crazy Winchester!' Crowley yelled as he was dragged away.'I'm not finished with you Crowley!' Dean turned back and smiled, grabbing Cas' hand as he walked down the hallway.
