So this is kind of like a second part to my AU 'welcome home' where Dean and Cas buy a home together. Sorry if it sucks but I tried. Thank you guys for all the votes and comments I really appreciate it! As usual, comment any requests and/or opinions! Enjoy.

The last box.
Cas and Dean had moved into their new home around three months ago, and due to the honeymoon hadn't had a lot of time to un-pack. But this was the last box.
It was nothing special, just some bits and bobs left around their flat that they'd chucked into a box back when they'd packed.
'This the last one?' Dean sat beside Cas on the sofa, the large box balancing on both of his knees.
Cas nodded, 'It's strange. It feels like we've lived here forever.'
'We will.' Dean smiled, 'So what's in the box?' He rubbed his hands together.
Cas peeled away the tape and placed it beside him, revealing the contents of the box. There were a few of Cas' old revision books, picture frames of the two of them, a small music box and various other objects.
Cas laughed, taking out the first frame he saw waving it in Deans face.
Dean laughed at the sight, the frame held photograph of them both on the beach.
'We should go again.'
'We just got back from our honeymoon!' Dean laughed, 'but yeah we should.'
Cas continued emptying the box, rushing around the house placing things in places he though they belonged. Dean remained seated on the sofa, beer in hand as he admired his husband frantically making their house a home. Which it was.
'All done.' Cas smiled picking up the box.
'Finally.' Dean stood up, taking Castiel by the waist and binding their lips together. Dean left the room leaving Cas stood alone holding the empty box.
'Dean!' He dropped the box and ran into the kitchen.
'What?!' Dean shouted panicking, Cas' tone was alarming.
'We should get a dog!'
'A dog?' Dean sighed, 'Really?'
'Why not?' Cas waved his hands in the air smiling.
'Don't look at me like that.'
'Like what?' Cas' face blushed bright red.
'Finee.' Dean laughed, 'It better have a cool name then.'
'I love you!' Cas ran over, kissing Dean on the cheek before picking up the box he had previously dropped.
'I'm married to a child.' Dean whispered to himself, laughing as Cas walked away.
'I heard that!' Cas turned around giving Dean a sarcastic glare.

~2 hours later~

Cas nudged towards Dean, their bare skin sliding against one another as they lay shirtless on the sofa.
'Another episode?' Dean looked down at Cas.
'Okay.' Cas took off his glasses to clean them against his jeans before placing them carefully back onto his face.
A few minutes into the episode Cas began to notice Deans eyes closing wearily.
'You wanna go to bed?' He whispered looking up at him.
Dean nodded.
Cas stood up, reaching his hand out towards Dean who immediately grabbed it as he switched the television off. They walked to the bedroom hand in hand taking off their trousers as they entered the room.
Dean collapsed onto the bed, his head hitting the crisp pillow.
'I'm so tired.' He turned towards Cas who lay beside him.
'Goodnight.' Cas whispered as he rested his head against Deans chest.
They both fell asleep within a matter of minutes. As usual.

'Cas?'
Cas turned in his sleep towards Dean.
'What is it?' He mumbled wearily wiping his eyes.
'I can't sleep.'
'What wrong? Another nightmare?'
Dean nodded, wrapping his arms around Cas.
'Sorry for waking you.' He continued, 'You can go back to sleep if you want.'
'No it's fine babe.' Cas sat up, resting his head against the bed frame, 'You okay?'
'Not really.' Dean wiped his forehead.
Cas pressed his lips against Deans slowly.
'I love you Dean.'
Dean couldn't help but smile at the sound of Cas' rough sleepy voice.
'I love you too.'
'Wanna get some breakfast?' Cas ran his fingers through Deans thick hair.
'At 5:00am?'
'What not?' Cas stood up and walked out the room wearing only his underwear.
Dean followed him into the kitchen after jumping across the bed.
'Bacon?' Cas rummaged through the fridge.
Dean smiled as he admired his husband. How did he get so lucky?
