Lucas P.O.V.

Right now me and Maya are downstairs talking about what happened last night over breakfast.

We made sure everyone else was out.

Thank god Riley's still asleep.

So far the conversation is pretty quiet.

L-"So Maya.......Uh are you gonna eat that last piece of bacon?"

What? I'm hungry and I'm trying to make conversation.

M-"Really Cowboy? We are in the middle of a crisis! No I'm sorry how about the end of the world! And your trying to steal my last piece of bacon? Oh sorry I forgot that your from Texas and it's all about good eating and wholesome living in the natural cornucopia of the Earth's bounty!"

L-"Haven't you said that-"

M-"Huhhh-hurrr!"

Yes! There's my Maya!

L-"You okay now?"

M-"Hmm yeah I actually do."smiling

L-"Haven't done it in awhile have ya?"

M-"Stop interrogating me Ranger Rick."

Huh? Did I miss something? I was never interrogating her!

silence

M-"I'm just messing with you."laughing

Pssh I knew that. Just play it cool Lucas.

L-"Uh I knew that."

Nice save. I think she bought it.

M-"Uh huh suuure ya did Huckleberry."

Ok now we need to talk about the kiss last night.

M-"Lucas, do you think Riley will ever forgive me?"

Looks like she beat me to it.

L-"Maya....stop. You know she will. Your Riley and Maya!"

I hope she does. I honestly don't know if she will. But I'm trying to give Maya hope, even though hope is for suckers.

M-"I don't know Lucas.....she really likes you."

L-"And how do you feel about me?"

Maya P.O.V.

Oh no. He just asked me how I feel about him. 

Should I confess or would it only make the problem worse?

I'm taking too long to answer.

M-"Um....I don't know"

But I do. I like him. I have ever since the campfire almost kiss. My feelings for him never went away, and I don't think they're going to.

But Riley is my best friend. I can't hurt her.

Besides, she liked him first.

Oh wait, she already knows I've always liked him and still do.

But yet she went out with him? Even though she knew I still liked him.

But I did tell her to go for him, and him the same thing.

What if he doesn't like Riley?

What if he liked me all this time, but didn't think he had a chance so he went to Riley.

I told him to go for her, chose her.

He listened to me.......

But I also told him I never had feelings for him.

That crushed him. What will he say when I tell him it was all a lie?

No. I won't do it. I won't ruin our friendationship? I don't really know anymore. But I know one thing. No telling.
