Next Day

Twinkle hastily signed off the contract papers while gulping down as much as coffee as she could. Even though she had left the two love birds alone last night she just couldn't sleep.

She had been feeling uneasy throughout the night and couldn't recall when she finally fell asleep.

Sally called her earlier in the morning, informing her that her new boss was waiting for her at his office and required her signed contract. It's been 20 minutes and she knew she couldn't waste any more time and trusted her Karma as she signed off the stack without paying much attention.

She was sure that Solomon had simply given her the papers that mostly all managers before her had also signed.

He is not going to rope in any clause that she can't actually deal with.

"There. I can finally leave now," Twinkle muttered to herself.

"Leave so early sis? Oh yeah your job!," said Barry as he groggily walked towards the coffee maker. He poured himself a cup and sat across to her in one of the bar stools she had at the kitchen counter.

"Good morning to you too. Yes, my new job. Wish me luck! And yeah use your spare keys to lock up whenever you both decide to head out," she gave him a hug and he hugged her back.

"Thanks Twinkle and yeah break a leg!" he smiled at her. He and Millie had patched things up and both had decided to take one step at a time before they decide whether or not they are ready to be fit parents to the coming new member of the family.

"I want to marry Millie," he blurted out suddenly making Twinkle coming to a standstill.

"Yipee!" she cheered loudly and rushed to give her brother another tight hug. She had been waiting forever for them to tie the knot.

"Did you propose? Wait then you wouldn't be making this statement. You are planning to ?" she gushed and he nodded excitedly beaming at her. He knew that he was doing the right thing. He and Millie were made for each other in every way possible.

Twinkle phone rings and she sees Solomon name appear. Tucking her hair behind her right ear she answers.

"Yeah Hi. I am good. Yes, I am on my way. Yeah, I have signed. Sure, I will wait in lobby then. Two days? I need to pack. Are you sure? But..Okay. Bye" she hangs up with a confused face.

Barry squints his eyebrows unable to comprehend what is troubling his sister.

"All okay?" he asks her.

"Yeah, I think. It was Solomon, he told me to meet him in his office lobby and that we are heading for New York by afternoons flight. For two days. He needs to sign some singer who needs a nudge and thinks I can do that. But two days," should she go, she began to ponder.

"This is good. I mean you yet have to submit this contract and here he has this newbie ready to ensure you get your 2% stake on your first day," Barry asserted and Twinkle had to agree that he had a valid point. This will be a business trip she assured herself but why was her heart thumping all of a sudden?

Get a grip girl! He is your boss and he needs you in professional sense only!

"You are right. I must make haste. I am so late! Bye again and tell me all about the proposal. Congratulations in advance. I am sure she will say yes," she hugged him again and picked up Louis Vouton beige purse and contract as she headed out towards her car and her new life.

"A private jet?" she asked Solomon perplexed, looking at the jet as it waited for them. She hated these small jets as they tend to sway far more than normal planes. Solomon gave her a tilted smile.
