Newt.
Newt grew up in your classic rich family, he got everything he wanted when ever he wanted. But when you have everything at your fingertips sometimes, you just want nothing. His parents started to notice how he didn't want much for his birthdays but to give what they wold spend on him to charity to help others. After his mood only got worse, he didn't come out of his room as much, so his mum ordered a doctor to come in and see what was wrong with their son. Newt was diagnosed with critical depression and anxiety. He started anti-depression and anxiety pills. Nothing helped. Newt started cutting to relive pain, it worked only for short periods of time, but it was happiness nonetheless.
Thomas.
Thomas was disowned by his family, having nowhere to turn to. His brother even exiled him. Leaving Thomas more broken then he thought possible.He fell depressed, he only situation was to cut. 10 maybe 20 times a day he would bring the some bloody razor to his scared, tan skin. Hoping one day, he will find happiness and salvation. But Thomas knows that day is far away.
