"This place hasnt change a single bit in all the years I've been gone.. How peculiar.." Edd thought to himself as he stepped out of the car. It's been 8 years since he's seen his childhood home. He stops before putting his key in the door.  "I don't know if I can go back in this place.. I don't think I'm ready for this at all." Edd couldn't bring himself to enter. He puts the keys back in his jacket pocket. He started to walk back to the car when he hears his name.

"Hey! Is that you Double d?! It's been what like 8 years?" Kevin yells from his motorcycle. "Oh.. Greetings Kevin. Yes it has been a while. I didn't know you still lived here.." Edd called back.
Edd couldn't help but feel  relieved to see a familiar face even if it wasn't in the best situation.  He started to walk toward Kevin. "Hey man, yeah I stuck around after college. Oh, hey I heard the news. I'm so sorry. Will you... Uh are you staying for a while?" Kevin asked. "Thank you. I am not sure how long I will be here. My parents left me the house when they moved away. I haven't been inside yet. I don't think I'm ready just yet. I was going to take a walk and gather my thoughts." Edd explained.

It's been so long. But nothing looks different. Even Kevin looked the same. He still wore the bright green shirt and black pants. He still wore the same hat from when they were younger. He was more muscular though. Edd could see that even through his jacket. Edd had always had a crush of Kevin but never wanted to tell him. He knew he'd probably never see Kevin again after he graduated high school two years early then all his friends and moved away for college. But he still felt the butterflies when he was walking towards him.
