KevEdd: After the years have past.

A frozen hell.

"Why can't I open my eyes? Why can't I talk? What's happened to me. I can't feel anything." Hello? Eddy is that you? Can you hear me? I can hear you. Eddy why are you crying?!. Eddy don't cry. You can have my lucky buttered toast. It's on my pocket. Or it was... Where am I Eddy? I'm so scared" Ed thought to himself. He couldn't speak. He couldn't figure out why. Days passed and Ed still couldn't move. He heard beeping noises and he heard Jimmy tell him he's here to run test. "Do aliens have me? Have I been kidnapped?" Ed thought.

Ed heard Eddy come in every day "you have to get better monobrow, or I can't take you outta here. Come on man. Wake up!" Eddy whispered to his coma struck pal. "Eddy I am not sleeping. I can't move... Eddy!! What is happening to me. I want to open my eyes, please. I am not tired anymore" Ed tried to scream but nothing came out.

"It's been a 40 days" Ed heard a nurse say. "He hasn't gotten any better. They're little to no brain activity. He was beaten pretty badly, he had massive bleeding on his brain and bleeding internally.  We are still running test but it isn't looking good. " "well, he barely has any brain activity when he's not on a coma am I right?!" Eddy let outta chuckles and then a cry. "Eddy there's still time. It will get better" Sarah said placing her hand on Eddy's shoulder.

"A coma? What's a coma? Is that why I can't get up? I'm still here Eddy. Sarah?! Anyone?!" What happened to me? Let me up. Let me wake up!" Ed thought as he laid there still frozen.

"It's been 45 days. I've called Kevin and Nazz. They'll be here in a few hours. I tried to call Double D. He sent me to voice mail. No shock there. It's what he's done for the past 5 years. So I left a message." Eddy said to Jimmy and Sarah. "Eddy, he has time... Please" Sarah started to cry. "No he doesn't Sarah. We need to be prepared"

"This is all my fault! I'm so sorry Ed I am so sorry!" Sarah yells!
"Sarah shut up! Ed saved you. That guy would have done God knows what to you if Ed didn't walk into that ally to find him holding you down! Ed loved you, he wouldn't let anyone hurt his baby sister! This is not your fault! That piece of shit is rotting in a prison cell for what he did to Lumpy!" Eddy yelled.

"Sarah.. She's crying What's happening? I feel so weak. I can't think straight anymore. I hear so many voices. Why can't I... Do anything?" Ed thought. "Please baby sister don't cry for me. I love you so much" Ed said in his head.

"How is he? Nazz asked?" "Nothing's changed, tomorrow is the day. Any sight of Double d?" Eddy asked. "Yeah he's in town. His cars parked at his old house. He ran off somewhere when I tried to talk to him" Kevin told him.
Eddy walked out without another word to anyone. He got in his truck and headed to his home to change clothes. When pulls up to his home, he sees a the same black car Double D had when he last saw him 5 years ago. He reached in the trucks glove box and pulled out a post it note and wrote a note. He went home took a shower and got clean clothes on and headed back to the hospital.

"Why is everyone yelling? My head hurts.. Everyone stop yelling please" let me sleep. I need to sleep." Ed tried to say. Double d? Is that you? Ed heard his old friend. He hasn't heard Double ds voice in so long but he knew it was him. Oh how he missed the sound of his dear friend. "Oh double d I have missed you so much. Eddy has missed you too. Oh double d! Please stay with me!" Ed was so happy.

"It's time for what? What's going on? Is it time for me to finally sleep? I'm so tired. Ed thought. Ed could feel his two friends holding his hand and he heard the sound of the monitors moving and things getting unhooked. "It's time. I'm ready to sleep. Good night Eddy. Good night Double D. I love you." Ed had his lost thought as he drifted into an eternal slumber.
