"What do you mean? You just said you had a boyfriend when you were gone?" Kevin asked sitting next to Edd. "I did. He... Well we were taking things slowly. We kissed and slept in the same bed. But we'd never gotten to the sex part." Edd said embarrassed.
"Well that's what we will do! We will go as slow as you'd like. Okay dork?" Kevin said handing Edd his shirt. They spent the rest of the day unpacking Edds things and looking at all of the old photo books from Edds childhood. "I miss him So much it hurts. I feel like I failed him." Edd said after seeing all of the photos of Ed and Eddy. "I know. What happened between you three Edd?" Kevin asked.
Edd began to explain "They came to visit me a few times for the first three years that I was gone. It was always a good time. But I was getting distracted from my school work when they visited. I would get so mad when they'd come over and Eddy would trash my home and invite random people over to party at my house. I couldn't take it so I yelled at Eddy and told him he needed to go. We got in a fight and they left. I didn't want to admit I overreacted so I stopped talking to Eddy. I never answered when he called. I didn't want my school work to suffer." Edd was crying hard and shaking from anger.
"Edd you can't beat yourself up. You can't change the past." Kevin tried to make his rediscovered love feel better.
"Can you just hold me? Please my darling?" Edd asked gazing into Kevin's piercing green eyes. Kevin reached over and pulled him close as they drifted off to sleep.
