This is my fourth time pretending to be a highschool student and everything was still the same. They still had cliques. The basketballs and football jocks still ran the school, the cheerleaders still dates the jocks, and they nerds got made fun of.

I smiled at the captain cheerleader and she came towards me. That's who I needed to get too to get the popular kids attention. I watched as her followers walked behind her. She stopped in front of me and smiled.

"You must be the new hot white guy I hear people talking about" she said. She was cute. Actually she was hot. She shake my hand and smiled at me. One of her other friend gave me her hand to shake too. She looked up at me and smiled. She was a cutie too. Few minutes later there were guys coming to join the circle too.

"Yo gave the guy same space, DAME" a guy yelled behind me. I looked behind and the basketball captain was standing there. The girls parted away giving him space. He smiled and gave me a handshake

"I see you already got some honeys. I'm Jason, I heard your ball you should join the basketball team, we have one more day of tryouts coming up"

I didn't know what to say. I wasn't here to join a basketball team or graduate. This was just a cover up so I can do what I needed to do. But I needed to blend in, and form what I've read about Jason before coming here, then he might lead me to the person I'm looking for.

" Yea I play ball. I'm Ryan" I told him. He grabbed the captain cheerleader hands and pulled her close. She kissed him and they started laughing. I looked away and my eyes landed on the girl that gave me a ride walking to her car.

I noticed in the classes I had with her she made herself invisible. She didn't talk to anybody or even talked unless she was talking to a teacher.

"Hey we throwing a party this weekend. You gotta come" Jason said bringing me back to the group. I looked at him and started nodding my head.

"Man I will be there"

" Cool, I will holla at you later man. I gotta take my girl somewhere and show her love"

He pulled out his hand for me to shake again and I took it. His girl gave me a hug and her friend tried to give me one too. I hugged her back so it wouldn't be awkward. I left as soon they walked away. The girl was still parked there. She was talking on the phone.

I smiled when I noticed she was talking about me. I took my time getting to her. She was beautiful, but her low self esteem showed. Just by looking at her you can tell she didn't know how beautiful she was. She smiled and rolled her eyes. I slipped in the car.

"You waited" I told her. She turned in her seat and looked at me. I can tell she didn't mean to stay. Either way it was nice seeing her get annoyed by me. She wasn't like any of these girls that kept staring at me and drooling.
