Normani woke up the next morning to an empty bed. She looked around the room and didn't see any trace of her girlfriend wondering where she went noticing it was a Saturday morning so neither of them had any classes

"Hi beautiful you're up" lauren walked in with a big tray of waffles, eggs, grits, sausage,hash browns with a side of oatmeal and a glass of orange juice with a pink rose on the tray

Normani's eyes were still adjusting to the intruding sunlight

"Hi baby" normani responded with a sheepish smile lauren leaned in to give normani a kiss but turned her head leaving lauren to kiss her cheek

"Babe I just woke up I have morning breath" normani chuckled

Lauren gently grabbed normani's chin pecking normani's soft plump lips twice no matter how many times lauren kissed normani she always felt fireworks every time 

"So.. I don't care" lauren replied smiling at how cute her girlfriend was

Normani returned the smile her smile grew even bigger when she noticed lauren carrying a tray of food. Lauren noticed normani eyeing the tray

"Oh yeah here I cooked you some breakfast" lauren said sitting the tray in front of normani

"Aww thank you baby you're so sweet" normani replied stuffing her face causing lauren to giggle

There was a comfortable silence for a moment before lauren spoke

"So are you gonna tell me what happened yesterday?" lauren asked but normani just ignored the question 

"Baby" lauren said softly causing normani to slowly look up from her food

"Nothing" normani said and resumed her eating

"Mani-" lauren started but was immediately cut off by normani

"Lauren just leave it alone it was nothing!" normani replied harshly

"Fine I'll let it go then" lauren said laying back on the bed saying nothing else about the matter

Normani sighed instantly feeling bad and stopped her eating once again. She climbed on top of the green eyed girl who was laying on her back with her eyes closed and gave her a soft peck on the nose

"I'm sorry baby I just don't like bringing up the past" normani apologized

Lauren open up her eyes and looked at normani a bit confused but respected her girlfriends wishes

"Ok baby" lauren replied smiling normani smiled even wider giving lauren a soft kiss on the lips then began to climb off but was stopped by lauren wrapping her arms tightly around the browskin girl

"I love you so much!" lauren said holding onto normani

"I love you so much more" normani said giving lauren a quick peck on the lips but lauren deepened it kissing her passionately then moving lower onto her neck once lauren attached her lips to her throat she began sucking on the spot harshly causing the brown skin girl to moan lauren then flip them over so that she was on top and resumed her previous actions on the brownskin girls neck lauren's hands gently slid onto normani's neck as she went back up to the brownskin girls lips then back to her neck but normani suddenly felt like she couldn't breathe like she was being choked and began scuffing for air, crying and kicking as she had flashbacks of tommy holding her down on the bed his hands firmly around her neck choking her

"No stop let go of me please you're hurting me!" normani cried

Lauren immediately removed her lips and hands from normani's neck gently sitting normani up they sat on the side of the bed

"Babe are you ok?" lauren ask concern laced in her voice as she rubbed her back

"Y-yes i'm sorry..." normani replied

"It's okay baby just relax" lauren said as she got up and quickly ran down stairs and got a bottle of water and quickly ran back upstairs and handed the bottle of water to normani after opening it sitting back down besides normani she continued to rub her back as she leaned into lauren's side trying to get get her breathing back to normal

They sat there in silence for about 20 mins before lauren spoke

"Babe can you please tell me what is going on" lauren begged normani as she still rubbed her girlfriends back

Normani just looked up at lauren and broke down crying again not ready to tell yet

"Shhh it's okay you don't have to tell me right now" lauren said calming down the brownskin beauty

"Hey Dinah and I were going to the mall today come with us?" lauren asked in a soothing tone

Normani lifted her head up and gave lauren a small smile

"Sure" normani replied wiping her tears

"Alright I'll let you get dressed and meet you downstairs I love you" lauren said smiling as she gently kissed normani's lips grabbing the now empty breakfast tray heading downstairs

"I love you too" normani replied getting up to go to the bathroom.

20 minutes later normani was ready and walking down the steps lauren was sitting on the couch talking to dinah waiting for normani

"Ready?" normani said as the two snapped their heads up towards the brown skin beauty

"Yup let's go" dinah said getting up followed by lauren 

~2Hrs Later~

"Babe you're so beautiful" lauren said as she stared at normani's side profile kissing her cheek

"Thanks. I love you baby" Normani said blushing turning her head pecking lauren on her lips

"I love you more baby" lauren replied smiling

"Ugh you guys are so annoyingly cute" dinah said pretending to throw up

"Shut up" lauren replied chuckling

"I feel like such a third wheel" dinah said slightly pouting

"Aww you want me to call ally and tell her to come meet us?" normani asked

"Yeah I miss her I haven't seen her in a while" dinah replied

"Alright let me call her real quick" normani said dialing ally putting her on speaker

"Hi Mani!" Ally answered cheerfully

"Hey ally what's up?"

"Nothing just finished getting dressed, what's up?" Ally said

"Oh well me, lauren and dinah are at olive garden and I was just wondering if you wanted to join us?"

"Hmm... Sure I'll be there in a few" ally said

"Okay great, see you when you get here" normani said hanging up.
