Through Thick And Thin

    Normani had been quiet the entire way back and Lauren knew there was something wrong.

When they reached their apartment and normani went straight to the bedroom and got ready for bed still not making a sound.

Lauren then joined normani in bed and wrapped her arms around the brown girl and snuggled up to her and they both were soon fast asleep.

"Mani" ally called out trying to catch up to the brown skin beauty as they walked to their class

"Hey ally, what's up" normani responded

"You guys left so early is everything ok" ally asked

"Yeah, we just got tired" normani responded

"Oh" ally said

As they turned the corner normani instantly noticed tommy standing there talking to his friend and instantly froze she remembered that she had accidentally spilled a drink on him and knew he'd make her pay for it somehow. He always did when they were together and she'd make tiny mistakes.

"You alright?" Ally asks

"Huh? Oh uh yeah" normani responded

As they continued on walking to class they had to walk past tommy and as they did so normani glanced up at him noticing the hard glare he was giving her never taking his eyes off of her.

"Where's Lauren?" Ally asked

"Sleep" normani answered

"Does she not know they we have class right now?" Ally said

"She does she said she didn't feel like going to class this morning" Normani said shrugging not worrying much about it because she knew lauren would make it up anyway

"I'm sure she won't be missing much anyway" ally said walking through the door with normani

As class went on normani and ally wrote down the notes needed and listened in on the class discussion. Class ended and normani was on her way to grab something to eat before going back to her room to study but on her way she was stopped by a hand on her wrist

"Yo you know this isn't over right?"
A deep voice said holding the brown skin girl's wrist in his hand

Normani once again froze just by hearing the voice

"What's not over?" Normani asked a bit shakily

"The whole spilled drink incident, you know what i'm talking about, bitch you did that shit on purpose" he said

"Tommy get off of me" normani said shakily trying to slip her wrist out of his hand

"This definitely isn't over" he said releasing her wrist and walked off but not before bumping her shoulder roughly with his own.

Normani stood there for a second rubbing her wrist and began her journey back to her room forgetting all about grabbing something to eat she wasn't hungry anymore.

Once she opened the door lauren was sitting in the living room laying down on the couch watching t.v.

"Hey babe" Lauren greeted normani with a smile as she walked through the door
