20 minutes later ally had arrived
"Ally!" They all greeted the short girl with hugs

"Hey guys" ally greeted back

"How are guys?" Ally said

"Great, how've you been I haven't seen you in a while ally" dinah said

"I'm good, I know ally replied slightly frowning " I've been working" then flagged the waiter over to order her food seeing as they had already ordered their food

"That's good" dinah said

"What have you been up to?" Ally asked

"Same working and school" dinah replied"

"Are they always like this?" Ally asked referring to her best friend and her girlfriend just staring at one another googley eyed

"It could be worst trust me" dinah sighed giggling along with the shorter girl

"Oh shush" normani said breaking eye contact with lauren to glare at dinah

"Every time I hang out with you guys I feel like such a third wheel" dinah said pouting

"Aww but did you die though? No you're fine" normani responded cocking her head slightly to the side

"You suck" dinah said throwing a handful of fries at normani chuckling then a loud crash was heard throughout the restaurant startling the girls especially normani they turned their head to where they heard the loud crash and saw a couple arguing intensely.

Lauren watched with her jaw clenched as the guy gripped his girlfriend up by the collar of her shirt and screamed in her face she was sick and just couldn't believe she was witnessing such disrespect and she just couldn't hold her tongue anymore after she witnessed what he did next he raised his hand up and smacked her on the side of her face and lauren couldn't just mind her business and act like she didn't just see that

"Dude are you fucking kidding me! Are you fucking serious! You fucking coward!" lauren yelled at the guy

"My yo business bitch! This my girl" He yelled back

"You are a fucking coward!" lauren argued

The rest of the girls watched in completed shock unable to believe what they were witnessing was really happening. Normani watched as the guy slapped the girl and froze up having been in such similar circumstances not too long ago normani just sat there staring into space and began to tear up she didn't even realize she was crying until ally who automatically looked right at normani and placed a gentle hand on the girl's thigh as a way to keep her best friend calm and not think about her past as dinah try and manage to keep lauren in her seat and not beat the guys ass.

"Lauren, girl please chill you're gonna get us kicked out" dinah tried to convince lauren to sit down and relax

"Dude needs his ass kicked" lauren said frustratedly

"Lauren can you please just sit, norman-" dinah turned to normani to try to get her to help calm her girlfriend down but cut herself off as she saw ally comforting the dark skin beauty

"Hey normani what's wrong" dinah asked and that caught lauren's attention she quickly turned her attention to normani

"Hey baby what's the matter?" lauren asked softly as she gently wrapped her arms around her girlfriend comforting her

Normani didn't answer

"You wanna leave?" lauren asked normani in a soft tone

"No, I'm fine I just got overwhelmed for a second" normani replied

"Are you sure?" lauren asked

"Yes, i'm good" normani said

A few minutes after the commotion ended and the guy was kicked out everything calmed down and their food was brought out they all talked amongst one another but normani was silent.

Lauren noticed that she had been quiet and distant from the conversation and that she hadn't touched her food except for the few bites she took when if first arrived

"Baby you sure you ok? You haven't eaten any of your food" lauren asked as she wrapped an arm gently around normani's waist rubbing the exposed skin of her side with her thumb

"Yeah, I'm just not hungry" normani said

"Have you eaten anything at all today? Because earlier you said you you were starving" lauren asked concerned

"Yes lauren I ate today i'm just not really hungry right now" normani answered

"Okay I'm just making sure" lauren said rubbing normani's side in a soothing manner

Normani leaned into lauren's arm as she continued to rub her side listening to dinah's story. Trying to forget the situation that just went on not too long ago.

They were all done with their food and were ready to leave and lauren noticed something was definitely going on with normani she still hasn't touched any of her food so lauren just asked for a to go platter and packed normani's food up paid for their food and they were on their way out the door.

"Baby, are you sure you're okay, you haven't eaten any of your food and you were so quiet in the car ride back" lauren said climbing in the bed in between normani's legs

"Lauren I'm fine like I told you before I just wasn't hungry that's all" normani said in an irritated tone

"Fine" lauren said as she slowly began to move off of normani. Normani instantly felt bad about her tone towards lauren because was just looking out for her. She sighed and placed her phone on the night stand beside the bed then grabbed lauren's face crashing her lips into hers and wrapped her arms and legs around the green eyed girls body trapping her so that she couldn't moved

"I'm sorry baby you were just worried about me and looking out for me thank you and I love you" normani said kissing lauren again and again

"I love you too baby" lauren said laying her head down on normani's stomach. Two minutes later lauren heard a loud grumble come from normani's stomach

"Baby your stomach is growling, you said you weren't hungry" lauren said looking at normani with a disappointed look on her face

"I'm not hungry... well I wasn't" normani said looking down

"I'm gonna go heat up some of your food you didn't eat earlier food please eat it" lauren said slowly getting up off of normani and walking out of the room down to the kitchen. She went into the fridge heated up some of normani's food grabbed a bottle of water and made her way back to normani's room

"Here baby please eat" lauren begged eyes full of worry

"Ok babe why do you look so worried, I'm fine I just wasn't hungry" normani said grabbing the plate from lauren starting to eat and breathed a sigh of relief once she saw normani finally eating her food.

Lauren couldn't help but smile at her adorable girlfriend

"I love you" lauren said smiling wide

Normani ignored lauren for about 10 minutes as she finished eating before responding

"I love you too"

Lauren laughed giving normani a peck on the lips taking normani's plate she was now done with back to the kitchen.
