"Come on, Ashely. You have an amazing voice." James said, trying to convince the siren to come out with the group.
"I said no. I'm not going out to a karaoke night."
Fawn sighed, leaning on the doorframe. "You know, you don't have to sing, just watch the hilarious attempts at singing."
Ashley slowly nodded. "Fine..."
"YES!" James yelled, pumping his hand in the air before noticing the looks he was getting from the two girls. "Oh, uh, yeah." He grinned sheepishly, a blush spreading over his face as he rubbed the back of his neck. Ashely giggled as they walked out the door.
----
The group laughed, listening to Max perform a cover of Light 'em Up.
"Oh my God, I can't believe it!" Willow said. Fawn chuckled.
"You obviously haven't heard him sing before. I've heard plenty renditions of Disney songs every morning."
Willow laughed as Max came back to the seat. "I loved the howl at the end." Max lightly slapped her arm. "Shut up Willow."
The spotlight travelled around the room looking for the next victim of the karaoke stage. Suddenly the light illuminated the table. Ashely froze. The light centred on her. Panic spread over her. James reached over the table and grabbed her hand and squeezed it.
"I-I c-can't..." She whispered. All eyes were on her. "I-I can't get on that stage. I-it's out of my depth..."
"Hey... You can do it... I'll go up with you." James said, standing. Ashley nodded and stood, walking stiffly to the stage with James.
"I ship it." Said Fawn. The others looked at her. "What? You can't say that they are not good for each other." Willow and Max nodded.
"Much like two other people I know..." She said under her breath before taking a sip of her drink.
----
After the duet had finished, Ashley quickly went off the stage with James following.
All of the guys were enchanted by her voice. As they walked past the group, Ashley said, "Come on. I'm not doing this again."
