Willow stared at him. "Come clean about what?"
Max sighed and stood up. "Wait here." He walked into his room and came back a second later with one of his black leather notebooks. He carefully handed it to her and sat back in his seat, gazing out the window. To Willow.
For your eyes only.Willow carefully looked over the pages.
My love for you is like a dandelion. Beautiful, but I'm scared to touch. One blow could damage everything.
She read over each poem, each verse, each letter.
Max glanced back at her, his heart pumping wild. He took in the sight before him. The way the light shone over her dark hair as it framed her face. Her green eyes soft reading each piece. How for once, she was truly relaxed. Max smiled slightly and looked back out the window.
One letter caught Willow's attention. It was the last piece.
Dear Willow.
If you are reading this you either, a) found this by accident or b) I've decided to come clean.
I know that I sometimes am hard to get along with. I know how much we used to fight. Especially when coming to testing your creations.
For once, I'm having trouble writing this. How do you confess your feelings to someone in a letter like this?
Look, what I'm saying is I love you.
The way your dark hair falls in waves framing your face.
The glimmer in your eyes when you are inspired or up to no good or happy.
They way you don't care what anyone here thinks of you and your crazy potions and spells.
They way you reach out to anyone in need.
The way you relentlessly tease us in anyway possible.
How you always look for the good in people.
Everything.
I love you and everything about you.
I want to be with you. Forever and always. And nothing can change that. Not family, not friends, not anyone or anything. I love you. And you hope you feel the same.
Your werewolf friend...
Max.
PS. Hopefully more...Willow smiled and wiped her eyes. She gently closed the book and moved closer to Max. She turned his head to face her.
A faint blush covered Max's cheeks as he studied her. Willow studied him. Taking in all his features before drawing him closer. She pulled him off his seat and reached her lips to his.
"YES! I TOLD YOU ASH! I TOLD YOU IT WAS HAPPENING! SEE JAMES? I HAD A GOOD REASON TO DO THIS!"
Willow pulled away before her lips could touch Max's. Her cheeks taking on a scarlet shade. "I-i..." She started. Willow didn't know how to feel. She felt embarrassed that she was caught in such an intimate moment. She brushed past Max, taking the book with her, on the way to her room. Multicoloured sparks flew out behind her.
Max growled and turned to where the three were hiding. "WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING?" He yelled. He sighed and sat down on the chair again.
"Hey bud, you alright?" James asked, sucking on some coconut water.
Mac grunted in reply. James nodded. "Better leave him to it..." He said and he dragged the two girls away. "Fawn, you're crashing with us."I'm sorry.
