I looked at the monitor as the doctor moved the wand around my stomach. I was currently 4 and a half months pregnant with a little boy.
"There he is" the doctor smiled pointing at my baby.
"Awe, look at him. He has his little fists balled up" I cooed.
"Yep. My lil man gone be knocking niggas out like his daddy" Tez smiled moving his arms like he was boxing.
"Boy shut the hell up" I rolled my eyes paying attention to the screen. Over these past few months me and Tez's relationship has grown tremendously, friendship wise. He's been here for me and our baby every step of the way, and I could tell he was just as excited as I was for his arrival.
"And here's the lil' mans heart beat" the doctor pressed a few buttons and a loud rhythm sounded through the room making my heart flutter.
"Oh my gosh" I smiled wiping my eyes, it didn't matter how many times I heard my son's heartbeat, I cried everytime. I was just so ready to meet him.
"The heartbeat is nice and strong. You're healthy and so is the baby. He's growing at the right pace, remember to take your prenatal vitamins and I'll see you guys in a few weeks." She smiled wiping the gel off of my belly and leaving the room.
Tez stood from his seat and helped me pull my dress down and stand up. "You good? You hungry?" He questioned rubbing my stomach, which became a habit of his.
"Yea, can you take me by Wendy's before you drop me off at niylah's house?"
"Whatever you want. I gotta feed you and my son" he smiled, bending down and placing kisses on my stomach
We left the room and went to get our sonogram pictures and schedule my next appointment.
After getting everything set up we left, "I don't know why you wore that short ass dress when it's snowing outside" Tez frowned helping me into the car before getting in himself and pulling down the street to Wendy's.
I wore a burgundy sweater dress with long warm socks and boots. I had a warm jacket covering me and a burgundy beanie on my head.
"Whatever, it's not even that cold and the dress definitely isn't short" I rolled my eyes
"It is to me, these niggas can't be out here looking at my baby moms" he shook his head pulling through the drive thru at Wendy's.
