Meghan's POV
"Meghan, wake up! We're leaving for Vidcon today!"
It's David. It's weird hearing him this early in the morning, considering he's the one staying up and waking up late.
"Coming!" I respond.
As tired as I am, I'm really hyped going to Vidcon. David and I have been talking about it for ages. We've also already planned out which panels and meet-ups we're going to attend. Most of them will be Cube events.
While thinking about scenarios that could happen while meeting the Cube members; I get ready quickly. Luckily I already packed my bags a few days before. I walk over to my wardrobe and pick out the most comfortable clothes to travel. That isn't a hard thing to deal with, I grab my Kiing sweater and my favourite pair of jeans.
"Good morning buddy!" I say while walking downstairs.
"Good morning Meg, did you sleep well?" David asks.
"Hell yeah! I decided to sleep well, so it would be morning faster aha! How about you?"
"I couldn't sleep at all, my thoughts were all over the place.." he says slowly.
I look at him curiously, wondering what he thought about. We've been best friends for a long time now, he probably doesn't bother if I ask.
"Thoughts? Such as?" I decided to ask.
"Y'know, the Cube and such. What are we going to do when meeting them?" He sighs. "I'm scared that we'll do something stupid or embarrassing."
"Yeah sure.. I know you better than that David, you've been thinking about your girlfriend, haven't you?"
"Okay, you got me there. I was thinking about her. We will be gone for a long time, what if she gets another boyfriend in that time? A lot of guys do like her, or love her for instance."
I give him the look like I always do when I'm about to say something important to him.
"Listen to me David. I know I've told you a lot of times but, you have to remember. She loves you, she really does. Do you really think she would betray you just like that? You're an awesome human being, remember that!"
David looks at me thankfully.
"Thanks, I really needed that. Let's get ready for-"
He doesn't have the chance to finish his sentence, because I already screamed.
"VIDCOOON!"
We gave each other a perfect high-five and made breakfast.
