Meghan's POV
London hasn't woken up yet, the doctor told us that she's very tired and there is a possibility of her sleeping for the next three hours. We didn't want to go out though, we all decided to stay in her room.
"Wait a minute.." Bee says. "Didn't you say Jay was here?" Everybody turns around to Bee, looks like everyone forgot about Jay.
"Y-yeah.. We saw him falling down on the floor, right as we ran away." I say, having a flashback to that series of events.
"That's a bit weird isn't it?" Lia says.
"It sure is." Mitchell says. "Maybe I can find something about it in the local news." He grabs out his phone and does, what looks like, research.
"I swear to you, I have never seen anyone as weird as Jay." Huahwi sighs. "And I have met a lot of people." We all agree and then a silence follows, but it isn't as painful anymore.
"Found something!" Mitchell says happy, breaking the peaceful silence. "Here." He passes Bee his phone, signing her to let it go around. When the phone reaches me, I get confused at what the article says.
In Sydney Airport's main hall of arrivals, a boy attempted suicide. When the doctors arrived he was already dead. The reason is still unclear. A note in his hand is the only clue we have, it says as follows:
"That small room ijs how my life feels. I waanted revenge, but yyou showed me better. Death."
"That was definitely Jay." I state, after everybody finishes reading.
"How would you know?" Lia asks.
"Ah. I see it now." Mitchell says, rereading the article. Everyone else just looks confused.
"Take a close look at the note..." I say.
The phone goes around once again, but this time everyone is paying attention to the note. Nothing else.
"And?" I ask, looking around.
"He can't spell, that's for sure." Ravi says. "Or he meant to write it like that."
"Oh!" Huahwi snaps his fingers. "The misplaced letters form his name! Jay!"
"Yes indeed!" Mitchell smiles.
"That's so smart!" Bee says excited. "Quite a puzzle, was it?"
"Okay yeah. Too complicated for me." Lia laughs.
There was going to be a following silence, but all of a sudden London wakes up. She looks around before talking. "W-where is David?" Making me instantly want to cry again.
"He, um, is in a better place now." Hauhwi says, looking up.
"The upper floor?" Lia asks joking.
"No time for jokes you idiot!" I say.
"David... Is dead?" London asks, tears in her eyes. When I saw it, I let go of everything. Tears are falling down again.
"T-the plane crash.. It was too much. It should've never happened." I say, trying to catch some breath. "I'm sorry for everything."
"Don't be sorry, you haven't caused any of this. You only wanted to have a fun vacation, right?" Bee says hugging me, I only nod.
"Yup. Don't blame it on yourself. Shit happens." Ravi says.
"Is he... Really gone?" London asks, apparently she broke down in tears. Lia tries to comfort her.
"He sadly is. It was too late."
"Oh. My. God." London looks down. "Can I go to the toilet?"
"Sure, slowly though. Your leg is still not a hundred percent healed." Lia says, helping her down.
"What are you planning on doing after this?" Mitchell asks me, after London disappeared into the toilet.
"After everything is settled... Nothing. Absolutely nothing." I say with a slight smile on my face.
BOOM! We hear a loud noice from the toilet. "London!" Everybody says at once, running over to the toilet.
"London! Open the door!" Lia screams, pounding on the door. No answer. "London please! Answer!" No answer.
"We need to get a doctor!" Bee says. There's still a dead silence in the toilet. Ravi, Mitchell and I run to go get a doctor.
We find the doctor from earlier, explain him the situation really quickly and he comes with us. The doctor quickly opens the door.
"Oh. My. God." Lia exclaims.
"Not again!" I say.
"A note." Hauhwi says, coming closer to London. He grabs a note that's in her hand. "Here." He hands it to Lia and I.
"I'll take care of her. Go sit in the waiting room." The doctor says and we do as told.
In the waiting room we sit on the ground, in a circle. Mitchell, Bee, Huahwi, Ravi, Lia and I. We're missing three people now.
"What does it say?" Ravi asks, looking at the note.
"Ahem..." I read the note out loud. "I love him. Without him there is no love. No love, no life. I'll join him, for love and life. Take care. And then a drawn heart."
"We lost them, but atleast they're together. David and London." Huahwi says.
"Yeah... They are..." I say and start to cry again. I have cried way too much today, but who cares? I don't.
"Did I say something wrong?"
"Oh my god!" Bee says. "Please Meghan! Don't kill yourself, please!"
"Noooo!" Lia says.
"We need you here..." Mitchell says. "Or they'll be wandering around clueless."
"Oh, sorry.. Forgot about Nick for a second." Huahwi apologises.
"No." I shake my head. "Guys. I'll never. I'll never break my promise with him." I look over at Ravi.
"I'll take care of you. As promised." He says, knowing what I mean.
"Together..."
"Is the keyword." We instantly smile.
"That sounds awesome. Where have you heard that?" Mitchell asks.
"Ryan's last words." I say, this time smiling instead of crying.
We picked up Sean at the airport and are currently in the car, on our way to a secret spot. Nobody knows about it, except for me, as always.
"You're loaded with surprises, are you?" Huahwi says, he's driving while I give the instructions. Ever since I first went to the place, I never forgot the route.
"No." I smile.
"Yes you are.."
"Maybe."
"Yes. You. Are."
"No. False statement."
"True statement!"
"True or false?" Ravi asks.
"Nobody knows." I wink.
