Meghan's POV
We finally land. We wait for all the other passengers to get out first and then leave the plane ourselves, we go to the luggage belt, where our luggage is going to arrive anytime soon.
"Looks like it's going to take another twenty minutes." David says.
"Yup-" Ravi couldn't finish his sentence.
"Can you please say something else than yup all the time?" I say.
"Oh, sorry. Anyways, lets go sit over there." Ravi says.
We all agree and sit on a few chairs.
"How did you guys plan this surprise?" I ask.
"It was all thanks to David." Nick answers.
"It was your idea though." David says.
"Yeah, but, without you it wouldn't work out."
"In that case, you're welcome."
"So, I asked David some time ago what the best way was to surprise you. He said that I should go to Vidcon as well. It started as a joke, but Ravi got two tickets from his parents. It seemed like a perfect opportunity." Ryan explains.
"It sure was a perfect surprise, I didn't suspect a single thing." I say.
"That's why it's called a surprise." Ravi says.
"Haha. Funny."
"I know."
"But seriously, I can't thank you guys enough."
"For..?" Ravi and Nicm ask at the same time.
"For being here. This is going to be awesome!" I say excitedly and give Nick a hug.
"Can I get a hug as well?" Ravi asks.
"I want one too!" Lucas asks.
I ignore them, nobody is going to ruin this moment.
We arrive at the apartment where we are going to stay for the next few days. There are three bedrooms, a master bedroom for two people and two smaller single rooms.
"How are we going to decide who's going to sleep where?" I ask.
"We can take the master bedroom, Ravi and Nick the other two." David says, followed by Nick's angry face.
"I was just kidding!" David says quickly.
"So, Meghan and Nick, you take the master bedroom?" Ravi says.
"Sure. You can take the bigger room Ravi, as a reward for being nice." I say.
"Woo, I finally get rewarded for being nice!"
"Aha, you deserve it though!" I say smiling at him.
"Fine, why am I always this unlucky?" David says.
"You have a girlfriend, that helps." Nick says.
"Thanks for reminding, I wonder how she's doing."
"You could just call her?"
"She's in Brazil."
"Huh? Why?"
"I-I-I ..." David breaks down in tears.
"Did I say something wrong?" Nick asks.
"It's kinda complicated, David, go to your room, have some rest. I'll explain." I say.
After David went to his room, I explain the whole situation to Ravi and Nick.
After I finish my story, the boys look at me shocked.
"Dang, I didn't know." Ravi says.
"Yeah.. Now I understand why he broke down in tears." Nick adds.
"So, what should we do to cheer him up?" I ask.
"We could order a pizza and watch some Netflix?" Nick says.
"Good idea, you can search for a good movie or series and I'll go ahead order some pizzas."
"What about me?" Ravi asks.
"There's a grocery store just across the street, get some drinks and such."
"Fine."
"Don't put on that hoody though, it looks kinda scary." I advise him and he leaves.
Some time later the pizzas arrive, the movie is chosen and David comes to join Nick and I.
"Where's Ravi?" David asks.
"I don't know, he went to get some drinks, he should be back by now." I say.
"Yeah, he's probably fine though. Talking to someone or something." Nick says.
"Hm, if you say so." Right after we say that, we hear the door opening.
Ravi's POV
I open the door of the apartment. I hope that they won't get mad at me for bringing a girl, at least I got the drinks Meghan asked for.
"Hey guys! I brought the drinks and-"
