Lunch was over and it was time for the next class. While everyone headed out of the cafeteria, Adam held Taylor back.
"What is it?" Taylor asked as she felt Adam's grip on her arm.

-Adam: How are we going to tell her?
-Taylor: We'll figure something out.

"What if..." Adam said looking down.

-Taylor: What if what?
-Adam: What if I tell her?

Taylor shook her head.

-Taylor: Not an option. We have to tell her together. She'll have a better chance in believing if she hears it from all of us.

Adam waited for a bit then nodded his head. Taylor tapped him on his shoulder before walking away. Adam however, had other plans.

The day went by quickly. School was over and everyone was heading out. Jason stayed back at class to finish up his homework. He feared that he wouldn't have enough time to finish it up when he went home. Ms. Pierce, his Chemistry teacher, was also in the class with him. She was at her desk marking test papers. Jason felt uneasy. He sensed some magical force trying to contact him. It pained him since the injury he received. He grabbed his head and yelled out.

"Jason are you alright?" Ms. Pierce asked in a worried tone.

Jason didn't have the strength to answer.

"Jason?"

The pain eased down. He breathed heavily with his head shivering. Ms. Pierce got up from her desk and went over to him. She rested her hand on his shoulder.

"Jason? Are you OK?" she asked once more.

"Yeah, yes I'm OK." he replied as he gathered his things together and placed them in his bag. "I just need to rest a bit".

"I think you should head home then. Get some rest".

He nodded in agreement as he gave her a warm smile.

"Thank you Ms. Pierce. I will have your homework by tomorrow."

-Ms. Pierce: You can hand it to me by next week.

"Are you sure?" Jason asked with a raised brow.

"Certainly." Ms. Pierce reassured him.

-Jason: Thank you.

She smiled at him and headed back to her desk. He took his bag up and left the classroom. He walked through the halls which were empty. He went to his locker to put some of his books back, but as he was to enter his combination, he felt the pain again. He groaned in pain as he felt to his knees. He grabbed his head and winced to the floor.

"...outside".

He heard a voice in his head. It was clear but he managed to hear the word 'outside'. The pain quickly disappeared and he sighed in relief, lying on the floor.
Someone saw him on the floor and ran to him.

"Hey are you OK dude?" the guy asked as he knelt down to him.

"I'm OK I'm OK", Jason replied as he struggled to get back unto his feet. The guy had to help him up.

-Jason: Thanks.

"No prob. Do you want to see the nurse or something?", the guy asked looking concerned about him.

"I'm good, really, I am." Jason reassured him with a smile and a tap on the shoulder. "I just need to get home."

"Are you sure you want to be driving with a headache like that?", he asked as he leaned against the locker.
