After about another hour or so of hair styling classes with Grace we got in my car and drove home. I drove to Grace's house and parked in front,
"Hey want to hang out tomorrow?" I asked before she got out of the car. Grace looked a little sadly at me then sighed.
"Remember what tomorrow is?"
I searched through my memory to try and remember, Oh! "My bad Grace, I'm sorry." I apologized.
"No it's fine, I don't expect you to remember it. Heck! Even I don't want to remember it." She said sadly closing her eyes.
Tomorrow was Grace's mother's death anniversary; she normally stays at home or visits her grave since it is especially hard on her dad.
I let out a heavy sigh, "Alright, you know who to call if you need anything." I said thrusting her a pack of Pop-Tarts.
She laughed and stuffed them in her bag, "Thanks girl, bye. I'll text you."
"Okay, later." I waved goodbye as she closed the car door.
I drove back to my small house eyeing it as I parked, it was a great fit for me since I was living alone, I entered my house and locked the door behind me, shimmying my book bag off of my shoulders.
"Alright, what to do!" I said stretching my arms in the air and smiling.
If anything, I could say I was an introvert. I enjoyed spending time by myself, and if I was out and about it was either with Grace or a small group of family or friends. I usually didn't go to parties or huge outings. My time was spent with the people that meant most to me, or my internet.
I walked up to my room and changed out of the clothes I went to school in, and changed into some comfier clothes. I put on some shorts and a Dreamont t-shirt.
Plopping down on my bed I put in my headphones and scrolled through the internet. I spent several of my hours watching videos, reading, or texting Grace about random things.
Growing bored of the crafting videos I was watching I shut my laptop and laid on my back turning up my music. I felt my eyes get heavy and begin to shut, when my annoying, stupid, ringtone that I have yet to change went off. I looked at my phone, "Unknown Caller" appeared on my screen.
The number had my area code so I answered it, maybe it is Rick...
"Hello?" I asked.
"Hey, this is Tristan right?" I heard a deep voice say.
"Yeah, and this is?"
"Rick, you know your partner." He said laughing.
"No, don't think I know this 'Rick' you speak of." I said smiling to myself.
"That is a little harsh don't you think?" He said laughing.
"I'm just kidding, yeah I know you."
"Yep..."
A few moments of silence later, Rick spoke again.
"You know, Trevor is throwing a party tomorrow. Do you want to come?"
"Umm I appreciate the offer, but I don't think so."
"Are you sure? I mean, he said I could invite whoever and I thought of you."
"Yeah, sorry, I am not that big of a party person."
"Aww, that's okay. Maybe some other time."
"Yeah..."
