I awoke the next morning from a knock on my door. Pushing myself out of bed and stumbling to my mirror, I combed through my hair and made sure I looked decent.

My eyes opened wide when I unlocked the front door, "Jason..." I whispered.

He nervously looked at me, "Hey, Tristan can we talk?"

Biting my lip, I nodded and opened the door to let him inside. I led him to my living room and we sat on chairs across from each other. For several moments there was nothing but silence in the air, until we both decided to talk, "I'm sorry," fumbled out of our mouths.

I smiled a little, "You don't have anything to apologize for. I was the one who was out of line, you were just trying to apologize... I lashed out on you and I shouldn't have." I replied shaking my head in disapproval.

He reached towards me and took my hand, "No, please. I would've been angry too if someone gave me an apology as bad as that was." He hesitated, "Please forgive me, I am truly sorry, Tristan. You didn't deserve the treatment I gave you, I can't take back what I've done but I can try to fix it. Do you forgive me?" Jason squeezed my hand and looked at me with such sincerity and emotion that my heart started pounding in my chest.

I pulled my hand away from his slightly, "I do forgive you, Jason." I replied smiling softly at him. He looked at me with a full grin.

He let out a deep sigh of relief, "Thank God, I was scared you wouldn't."

I laughed a little then stopped, "Jason..."

"Yes?"

"How'd you find my house?"

"Well, Grace found me actually, then she gave me your address." He told me, scratching the back of his head.

"Oh..."

"Yeah..."

A heavy silence filled the room once again, I was unsure of what to say or even do. It had been so long since I talked to Jason. He had grown since I last saw him, he definitely grew more handsome. His eyes shone like the sea in contrast with his dark raven hair.

Jason cleared his throat and I realization sunk in that I was openly checking him out. A smirk appeared on his lips, "Like what you see?"

I scoffed, "Hardly, I have a boyfriend remember?" I laughed.

His smile disappeared for only a moment before reappearing, "Yeah, I remember." He laughed, "He's very lucky." Jason mumbled.

"Why?" I asked.

"Because- "Jason started before more knocking at my door came.

"I'll get that." I said going to answer the door. I opened the door to see a smiling Rick looking at me.

"Hey babe." Rick said kissing my cheek and pushing the door open.

"Hey, maybe now's not such a good time." I said panicking, last night's discussion with Rick reappeared in my mind.

Rick waltzed into my living room where Jason sat, his once gleaming smile vanished. "Jason," He said gruffly.

"Hey," Jason replied.

"Rick, did you need anything?" I asked, nervousness spreading throughout me.

"Didn't know it was a crime to see my girlfriend." Rick coughed, stressing that I was his.

"Of course it's not," I said lightly laughing. "Jason and I were just talking."

"That's nice, Jason, do you think you could leave I'd like to talk with Tristan. Alone." Rick said putting a smile on for Jason.
