I was on my way to town when the jeep started acting funny. It began to make choking noises, and I had to admit, it did not sound good at all. I patted the console of the car, "Please, please don't break down just yet. Just a little further, okay?" It felt strange talking to a car, but then again, I'd done stranger things in life.

After several more coaxes the jeep sounded normal again. It was almost like the engine was purring, and I smiled. It reminded me of the cubs back at home.

When I reached the town I parked the jeep close by, just so I didn't have to lug around the groceries. Surprisingly, the town was packed with people considering how early it was in the morning. I looked up to the sky and calculated that there was still a few hours till noon.

My jaguar was secretly happy that we were back in town. It was almost like she could sense something that I couldn't. But I could also feel a sense of longing coming from her. This need that wouldn't be filled until we had something, or someone in our lives. I couldn't deny the longing I felt. Like a part of me was missing. It was an ache that grew stronger everyday, as did the need to find him.

Finding a trolley, I walked into the supermarket. Going down each isle I made sure to grab everything I could think of that the pack would want, or really what Marcus, the head cook of the pack wanted.

By the time I reached the registers, I found that the trolley was overly stacked, and if I happened to knock into anyone or anything, everything would topple over.

There wasn't a long line, and before I knew it I was back at the jeep, placing all my groceries inside. I hopped into the drivers side of the jeep and tried to start it. Key word, tried. When I put my key into the ignition, it would make clicking noises, as if trying desperately to turn on. But it wouldn't. I slammed my hand on the dashboard. "Oh come on! Seriously? You do this to me now? You may as well have broken down earlier!" I groaned and hit my head on the steering wheel, keeping it there as the horn of the car went off. I knew I had to mind link Keil. He'd find my predicament no doubt, amusing.

Keil?

Hmm? I could tell he was still barely awake. He was definitely not a morning person.

I made a mental cough not wanting to drag him out here to town again just to pick me up.

You know how I went into town to pick up some groceries for Marcus? I scratched the back of my head knowing he couldn't see me.

Mhmm. Continue.

Well you see, the jeep was fine when I left. But now it won't start. It's making these little clicking noises. The jeep's broken down on me. Do your lil sis a favour and come pick me up. Pretty please.

I could tell he was awake now, his mind seemed more alert.

He made a mental snort. You know what I've realised? You have horrible luck when it comes to any type of vehicle, especially cars. Have you been cursed by any chance? Or do cars generally not like you?

I mentally groaned. Just come pick me up. Please. I don't want the milk to go warm sitting in the sun.

Yeah, yeah, I'm on my way Ari. Try not to move or do anything else to damage the pack jeep. I'll take another one of the pack's cars and come pick you up. I'll be there in ten.

Keil had kept to his word, and arrived just in time. As soon as he hopped out of the car I gave him the biggest bear hug I could muster. He smiled down at me, "What was that for little sister?"
