Chapter 6: The Trials [PART 2]

Reader's POV

After we get dressed in our P.E. clothes we make our way to the P.E. grounds outside.

"Hey wait up Shithead!" I stop and look behind me to see Bakugou walking quickly, trying to catch up to me. I smile at him when he comes next to me, "What's up?" He looks at me with his Tsunderish look, "I just wanted to tell you that the other day, at the entrance exam, when you were fighting PROs you were kinda cool. KINDA!!! Means nothing thought because! I Bakugou Katsuki will be better than you! You'll see shithead!" With that he storms away from me, full of confidence and I giggle.

We all stqnd in front of our homeroom teacher. He checks some kind of a measuring device in his hand. He finaly looks up at us, "Bakugo, what was your softball throw in middle school?" We look at Bakugo, waiting for his answer. With a straight face he replies, "67 metres." Pretty close to mine. I had it 61 metres.

"Okay then, try doing it with your Quirk now."

Our teacher, Aizawa, told us that in Yuuie High we'll be using our Quirks in exames like this.

Softball throw, standing long jump, 50 meter dash, endurance running test, grip strenght test, sustained side-ways jumps, upper body exercises and seated toe-touch. All the basic things.

Aizawa seems very worn out even as he talks, "Don't hold back." Bakugou grinns, "Got it."

With a loud shout of 'Die!' Bakugo fires the baseball. A giant explosive blast fires the ball far away. And I just stare at Bakugou. That was one hell of a beautiful explosion! What should I use tho? Explosive or wind power? Mmmmm.... Both are quete nice looking!

Aizawa looks at the score on his measuring device and turns it to us so we can see the score. 705.2 m! Holy hell! That's not bad at all!

The class laughs and exclaims on how easy and fun this all will be. I grin to myself. Time to show them how good I am!

"And by the way. The one that gets ranked last gets expelled. Since it's so fun for you." Aizawa says with complete poker face. The whole class shuts up and even a whisper can't be heard. That scared them off. But it looks like he means it.

Well I know I'm not gonna be the last ranked but I'm not too sure about Midorya, he still can't control his newly gained Quirk. We can't expect too much from him for now atleast.

Trial 01: 50-meter dash

"Um, sir?" I raise my hand. "What is it? Don't waiste too much time." I smile and nod, "Can I go against Tenya?" Tenya looks at me and we lock an eyecontact. He's underesting me. I can feel it. "Yeah that's fine."

We go to our position. I take a look at his legs. I spot an engine like thing in his lower legs.

Then I guess he's fast. Not as fast as me thought. "Good luck." I smile at him, "Thank you but you're the one that'll need it." I stiff a laugh, "I wouldn't be so sure if I was you."

Aizawa looks at us,

"Ready,"
"Set,"

I stick my tongue at Tenya playfully as Aizawa says go.

With all my strenght I push onto the ground and before I know it I'm past the end of the line. I stand up straight and a powerful wind hits me but I somehow manage to stay on my feet. Right after the wind blew Tenya comes and I smirk.

"(L/N) 1.06 seconds and Tenya 3.04 seconds."

We walk back to our classmates I decide to say something,"You were quete fast. I didn't expect it." He looks at me in full respect, "But I couldn't compare to you at all." I smile at him kindly, "That doesn't mean you were bad! I know that with some practice you can get even faster." He smiles at me happy
