Chapter 14: The Fatal Shot

Reader's POV

Now's the Battle Time! Best thing ever! Human cavalry battles were going terrible thought! My team almost lost! We manged to keep the headband thought! And we barely made it!!! Ayyyyy!

I walk in the hallway Shouto went in before me. I'm really drawn to him. I just feel like there's something way deeper within him, something not everyone has. I stop in my tracks as I hear two familiar voices. I know this isn't good thing to do but I'll listen, just this one time. I quetly press my back back to the wall and focuse on their conersation.

"Your resistance is childish and tiresome. So stop fucking around and see to your duty to surprass All Might!" I could recognize this voice anytime. It's Endeavour, the flaming guy I had to fight and I'm guessing that he's talking to his son. The way he talked pissed me off, making me almost turn around and punch the wall that was behind me. Why!? Why does he treat his own son like that?! The hell's his problem!?

"Has it penetrated yet!? You're different from your older brothers! You are my great masterpiece." I can feel the tension in air increas. I grit my teeth and snap.

I walk from my cover, "Will you shut the fuck up?!" I yell at the giant man in front of me. From the corner of my left eye I see Shouto turn around quickly and he looks at me shocked. "What the hel-!?" "I told you to shut up! How can you treat your own son like that?!" He looks at me with his eyes ignited in fury. "How I raise my son is my thing!" He grabs my head and I let out a scream of pain as his hand erupts in flames.

"Stop doing that! You're hurting her!" Shouto yells at his father, getting protective over me. I look up at the man. "N-No! Todoroki's my friend! So I'll stand up for him! You can not change that!" He pulls my hair that's in a pony tail and I let out a cry of pain. "Shut up! A brat like you can't know anything!" I grinn and look at him, "You're right. I don't know! But I DO know that you shouldn't treat your kid that away, no matter why!" He picks me up and brings me closer to his face, "Funny coming from a Monster like you." I chuckle at him mockingly, "You're the only monster here."

He brings me up further and brings down his right arm, slaming my body against the metal wall, still holding me to stop me from moving. Having enough of his shit and pushing me around I grab his hand with both of my free hands and kick up in his chin making him drop me on the floor and taking some groaning steps backwards. I charge at him and place my hands on the place where his heart is, freazing his whole body on the wall from that place on. I take a step back and look at my masterpiece. His whole body was frozen on the wall but only his head was outside. Meh. Not THAT deadly for him.

I turn and smile at Shouto with my eyes closed, ignoring the pain in my ribs and spine, "His Quirk are flames so he'll be out soon. So you should hurry up!" He looks at me shocked at what I just did. "You know your father's terrible but you're not like him at all! So don't you hold back!" He smiles at me gently, "Thanks (L/N)." With that he turns around and runs. My eyes are wide open and I put my hands on my cheeks. I-I-I'm b-blushing!? W-What the hell?!

Time Skip

In the first round I'm fighting Shouji Mezuou. The really strong guy from our class. I've noticed many times in the class that the end of his octopus like human hands have ends that can transorm into an eye, ear or mouth. He's well known for his strenght too, which isn't good for me. Now my strenght grip is a little less than 200 kg (440lb) and he could do over 540 kgs (1190lb) on the first day of class. I stand no chance with power attacks but maybe I can try pushing him out of the ring or freezing him to the ground. But Todoroki did that already so I won't steal his spotlight with ice. Maybe I can do something with vines for a little change? I'm actually really nervous because of his outstanding strenght. I smile at him and show him thumbs up, "Good Luck!"
