Hyungwon promised not to tease me or Minhyuk for the entire month. Hahaha, he learned his lesson the hard way!

Anyways, with Minhyuk fine already, he was now able to attend his classes that day.

That afternoon, while going to the café...

"I forgot!" I said as we stopped by a stoplight.

"What did you forget?" Minhyuk asked me.

"We forgot to tell you something." I said.

"What is it?" he asked.

"We have a new manager at the café!" said Hyungwon.

"Really?! Why?"

"Our old manager has been promoted. He's at the company HQ now." said (your best friend's name).

"Oh so we get to meet him today?" asked Minhyuk.

"Yes!"

At the café...

When we arrived, the employees whose shift have just ended told us to go to the manager's office to introduce ourselves. So, we all went there.

We made Hyungwon knock on the door.

"Come in."

Hyungwon opened the door and we all went inside.

Our new manager was facing the wall behind his table. It was adorned with various certificates, plaques, awards and posters.

"Good afternoon sir. We're... um... we're the employees for the evening shift."

"Yes, very pleased to meet you all." He finally turned to face us. He was wearing a pair of eyeglasses and looked more like a rapper than a manager.

"Sorry about what I'm wearing. It's what I'm comfortable with. Your names?"

We all introduced each other one by one.

"Okay, so I'm Jo Dongrim. Nickname's Mad Clown, got it?"

"Ma-Mad Clown?" Minhyuk asked.

"Do you have a problem with it?" he asked.

"Ah... no sir! It's fine! It's unique! Hehehe! Hehehe..."

"Well, you guys go to work now. That's all."

When we were all outside...

"What the?"

"Mad Clown?"

"I'm sure he's a rapper."

"Why would someone call himself by that name?"

Well, at least our new manager looked nice. We do hope he is nice!

During our shift, our new manager, who we just called "Sir", would constantly observe us. How we take orders, talk to the customers, clean the tables, clean the café, make the food, drinks, etc. Sometimes, he would ask us questions like how long have we been working at the café, are we happy with our pay, schedule, etc.

Before our shift ended, our new manager called us to the office.

"THANK YOU SIR!"

"Sure, I was impressed by you four so, job well done!"

At the dorm...

"I thought he was strict but wow, we got a raise!" said Hyungwon.
