Chapter 5: We Can Be Your Hero!

When I got back to our room, I saw Minhyuk sleeping soundly in his bed. I guess he was very tired from working today. Awww, he looks like a baby while sleeping.

After doing my night rituals, I went to bed hoping to sleep soundly just like Minhyuk below me but the thought of Wonho wanting to take me to a date just doesn't let me sleep! Why me?! Of all the girls in campus, why me?! I don't even know him that much! Did I do something that caught his eye? Or... Does he really just like me for who I am? Ugh! Stop it! Shake those thoughts away! I know! I'll learn everything about him starting tomorrow! Hmm... Minhyuk! I'll ask him! I'm the one who's going to annoy him this time!

The next day during breakfast...

"Yah, Minhyuk, tell me about... um..." Where's my confidence going?!

"You want me to tell you about Wonho, don't you?!"

"Ne..."

"Hahaha! You're preparing for your date!"

"Just tell me about him please!"

"Okay, okay. Well..." For once, he used his talkative mouth for something useful.

"Wonho, despite being SNU's heartthrob, is very much active in social works. He's very much active in donating toys, clothes and other stuff to a nearby children's orphanage. Because of that, he's very much fond of children and is close to them. They enjoy his company every time he visits. He's also active in sports. He can play basketball, soccer, volleyball, badminton, tennis and baseball very well that's why he has a lot of fangirls. Other guys in campus are really jealous of him because of all his talents. He has a good and stable family too. They have a small restaurant which his mom operates and he is very proud of that. Despite his celebrity status at campus, he's a good guy which anyone can come and talk to."

"Waaaahhhh... I see... How about his, love life?"

Minhyuk suddenly gave me a look which seemed to indicate he's teasing me.

"YAH!"

"Hahahaha! I'm sorry! You're so cute when you're like that!"

"Will you and Wonho stop saying that to me?! It's annoying!"

"He... he told you that?" he suddenly asked.

"Yesterday, he did!"

"Oh... Well... um anyway... About his love life, he's never had girlfriend yet ever since he started studying here. Although I heard he went out with several girls last year but none of them ended up being with him."

"Really?! I bet it's because they found him annoying, am I right?"

"No... He... actually dumped them."

"WHAT?!"

"Yah! Let's continue this while walking, we might be late for our classes!" And then he stood up, grabbed our plates and went to the kitchen sink.

"Wait!... Okay fine..." I noticed something, Minhyuk seems a bit 'off' today. I wonder why...

While we (me, (your best friend's name), Kihyun and Minhyuk) were walking, he continued.

"According from my classmates, he didn't like any of them. They were all just after him for his good looks."

"I guess Wonho's got standards he's looking for in girls then." Kihyun said.

"Omo! So that means (your name)'s got all the standards or qualities he's looking for! Waaaah! You're so lucky!"

"Stop it (your best friend's name)! You're killing my arm!" I said as she kept on slapping it!
