Chapter 25: Softly

The weeks passed and so did the seasons.

Minhyuk and I first met after summer, fell in love in autumn and now, we're celebrating our first winter!

Finally, it was the winter holidays!

After getting our pay from the café, we're free!... until of course we return to school in Spring.

Shownu treated all of us to a restaurant the day after. We were talking about our plans for the days ahead when it was I.M's turn to speak.

"Well actually guys... I was hoping to invite you all again... to somewhere..."

"Not another hiking trip!" said Minhyuk.

"No! Not this time! Hahaha... My family and I were supposed to go and spend the holidays at Gangwon-do Province this year but decided to cancel it for other reasons. My dad told me to invite you guys instead and spend the holidays there. Well?"

Silence.

All of us were focused on I.M.

"Guys? We have a villa there. There's enough rooms so it'll fit us."

Hyungwon poked I.M on his cheeks. "Just how rich are you?" he asked.

"That's classified information. Is it a go guys? We can go before or after Christmas. Depends on your opinions, well? It's also fine if you don't want to..."

"YES! WE'LL GO!"

"Yah! Keep it down there!" shouted the owner.

"We're sorry!" shouted Wonho.

"Really?! That's great! So when should we go?" he asked.

"Well we need to prepare our things so I guess after Christmas would do." said Shownu.

"Yeah, I agree. Christmas is kind of a family thing you see." I said.

We all agreed that we'll go after Christmas. Again, we'll all meet up at our dorm and be picked up by I.M's family van.

I noticed a several small holes on Minhyuk's jacket. I guess he must've been wearing that for a long time already...

After that very delicious lunch, we went out of the restaurant and that's where we said our goodbyes. Wonho, I.M and Shownu headed back for their dorms.

It was the same for Hyungwon, Kihyun, Minhyuk, (your best friend's name) and I but...

"Ah, you guys go on ahead. (your best friend's name) and I have to go somewhere." I said as I pulled my best friend beside me.

"Really? We're going somewhere?" she asked.

"Where?" Minhyuk asked.

"Just somewhere." I nodded and gave a nervous smile.

"Okay, come back quickly okay?" said Minhyuk.

"Yeah we will!"

We turned around and headed the opposite direction while the boys set off to go back to our dorm.

"Where are we going?" asked (your best friend's name). "Omo! I think I know! You're going shopping, aren't you?"

I nodded quickly. "I should've done it weeks ago! Now it's almost Christmas and I haven't got a present for anyone! Our friends... omo! Even for my family!"

"I told you! You should've come with me last week when I did mine! Aish..."

"Yeah, yeah you can scold me later, just come with me!"

"But, won't they see what you bought?" she asked.

"Well actually, can I hide it in your room for a while? Please? I'll get them before I go to my parents' house."
