RECAP
Josh's POV
And just then did I notice the fact that I, Josh Styles, was beginning to have feelings for none other than Jasmine Horan.
This girl will be the death of me.
5) So...Friends?
Jasmine's POV
I told him everything. And I mean EVERYTHING. But I don't feel as bad as I thought I would. I thought that by telling him, I would feel like everything would come crashing down because he knew... but instead I felt like a giant weight had been lifted off of my chest. He also told me everything and I'm glad to know that he didn't do the majority of the things people say, he's still done some bad things, and he smokes but everyone has their flaws. I've helped many of my friends to stop using drugs, and maybe he'll let me help him too.
After we both shed some tears on our parts, we just looked at each other, smiled, said "See you later" and now I'm in first period. Thinking of everything that just happened. Since I don't usually cry, my eyes weren't puffy just a little red, but I told people it was because I didn't sleep much.
Right now I'm sitting in the back row with Drew sitting to my left and Jake sitting on my right. They feel the need to block me in when they can.
"So what happened?" Drew asked with a worried look on his face. I hadn't said anything since I've walked in, I've just been sitting in my desk, looking out of the big window on my left past Drew.
"Not everything you know is right" was my answer.
"And you believe him?" asked Jake with a scoff.
"Of course I do. Why wouldn't I?" I asked looking straight at him.
"Uh..um... cause you don't really know him. He could just be trying to get close to you." He said in a shaky voice. I guess my glare was really strong even if I didn't mean it, he just hit a nerve when he asked that.
"He was looking straight in my eyes when he told me, I can always tell when someone's lying even if its the first time we've met, and you both know that. He was nervous, but because of what he told me, not because he was lying. I trust him, and you should trust me to know when a person is telling the truth." I retorted looking back out of the window.
"I know. I just don't want anything to happen to you babe." Jake said while he gave an exasperated sigh.
"Nothing's gonna happen. I trust him and you guys should trust me." I said, my glare softening when I heard the worry in his voice.
"We know. We just really care about you baby girl. It's hard to trust someone so easily, when we care so much about you. But if you really trust him then we'll lay off a little." Said Drew.
"I really do. And I know you guys care about me. I care about you guys a lot too, which is why I don't want you guys to stress about me when I'm perfectly fine."
"So what did he say?" wondered Drew.
"Nothing that you've heard is right, only a couple of things, but he has good reasons for those. They're not any of the big ones like the robbery and murder shit. I can't exactly tell you because I would be breaking our promise, and we all know that I would never do that, no matter the consequences." I told them.
"Okay. We will take that, but just please be careful." Said Jake, no longer looking as worried.
"Don't worry." I said with a reassuring smile. "I wont trade you guys for him. Don't tell me you're not worried about that because it's written all over your faces. I love you guys, I don't think I could ever replace you even if I wanted to." I said with a knowing smirk.
