"Off we go!" I shouted as I put the car in drive and began the journey home with my boyfriend.

Boyfriend... I like the sound of that.

17) NO!

When we entered the house, I automatically heard the guys shouting.

"Dudes I'm home!" I shouted using my weird greeting.

"Dudes?" asked Josh with an amused smile in his face.

"Yupp. Don't make fun of me mister." I warn using a glare.

"I wouldn't dream of it." He stated as he lightly kissed my lips. We walked through the entrance and into the living room to find all of the guys in their usual spots. Yes they have their own spots. Drew, on the very comfy chair, Jake and Eddie on the love seat, and Chris, Ismael and Patrick on the three seater, and I sat on the love seat across from Jake and Eddie, all of the couches were turned facing the coffee table. I took my seat and Josh sat next to me.

"What's going on?" I asked knowing the answer.

"Duty calls babe." Answered Ismael.

"Details." I stated. This was a pretty normal conversation and we automatically knew what the other meant.

"We aren't really sure. We've only heard a little bit but we suck at putting pieces together which is why you and Drew are the information people." He said with a sheepish smile. Just as he finished speaking Drew hung up.

"Drug dealer. Not the main, it's the henchman. He's 26, Hispanic, about 5'7", currently he's in Brazil. they're emailing some pics right now." About 15 seconds later the computer beeped informing us of a new email. "This is him." he said turning the screen to us. "His name's Sergio Ramirez"

"Okay. You guys know your jobs, get to work and see if everything's right. Also make sure we find out everything about him." I said sternly, getting into my professional, boss character. "Josh you'll be coming with me and Drew. You're good in the same areas as us and we could use you. Right Drew?" I asked looking at him with a raised eyebrow.

"Right. You're pretty good, just don't fuck up." Drew answered.

"It's just information that we need. Are you sure you want to do this?" I asked Josh in a whisper. The rest of the guys were too consumed in making their plans to hear us.

"Babe, as long as I'm with you, I'm ready." He replied. I just blushed and was about to say something back when my cellphone rang.

Without checking the caller I.D. I answered as I got up and walked into the kitchen.

"Hello?" I said.

"Hey sweetheart. How's everything going?" hearing my mothers voice after what happened automatically set something off. I know I was gripping onto the counter too hard because my knuckles were white but I didn't even care.

"I'm fine." I replied with an icy tone.

"That's good. Are you alone?" She didn't even notice. She never notices anything.

"No. My friends are here, we were just watching some tv." I say with a monotone voice.

"That's nice. Which ones?"

"Drew, Jake, Chris, Ismael, Pat, Ash, Lindsey, and Emily." I threw in the girls names so that she wouldn't give me a lecture about being alone with guys and all that shit.

"That's nice. Have you run into Josh.?" She asked. So this is why you called. I thought. Of course.

"Yes I have, but we didn't talk much. Just said hi and went on with our day." Lying seemed so easy now.

"I better not find out that you're associating with him or that he's at the house young lady." She said in a stern voice, as if it would scare me into listening.

"Of course not. I wouldn't dream of it." It was hurting me to say these things and agree with her. Josh was an amazing person.

"Maybe we should send someone to check up in you. Make sure you aren't getting into trouble."

"NO!" I shouted. "There's no need for that. Like I said we're just watching a movie. Then we're going to get in the pool later and we might take some days off, we want to go camping. Everyone's grades are fine so it wouldn't be a problem right?" I asked changing the subject.

"As long as HE'S not there everything should be fine. Well I gotta go. Your dad says he loves you and I love you too. Goodnight sweetie."she replied with a sickly sweet tone.

"Bye" was all the response she got before I ended the call. Before I could punch the wall with pure frustration, Josh walked in.

"Woah there Jas, what happened?" he asked with a hint of worry in his eyes.

"My parents are assholes. But they think we're going camping for the days we'll be gone on the mission. So that's taken care of."

"Don't think about them. Think about the fact that you have your friends and your super sexy boyfriend." He whispered the last part as he wrapped his arms around my waist. I just chuckled and kissed his full lips.

"Thanks. But let's go back out to figure everything out."

"Okay." He answered. As I walked past him he smacked my butt earning a glare from me, which only made him chuckle and wink at me. I walked to the couch with a sway in my hips knowing he was still looking at my ass. Once we both sat down Drew filled me in on everything.

"Okay, so... after school for the rest of the week we will work on the subject, once we have everything we'll travel to Rio and complete the mission. They want him caught by authorities and some info. so we'll leave him in the old house we found last time. Patrick, computers. make sure you leave no tracks. Maye(Ismael), Pat, and Chris, learn from sources around Brazil and from people related to the gang. Apparently it's a big one so you shouldn't have trouble tracking people down. Josh and Jasmine, you guys come with me. Friday after school, we'll transform and move out. We're gonna need our fake passports and I.Ds so I'll be expecting those by Friday after school as well. C'mon people, lets get to work."

I knew Josh was confused when he heard 'transform' so I explained. "Whenever we have a mission we try to change our appearances. New hair, contacts, even teeth and face sometimes of course we use latex and silicon to make them, kind of like in White Chicks. So we'll do that on Friday." I informed him. "So Drew, where and who do we start?"

"Well Pat just found a guy that works for the gang. His name's Robert Miguel Hernandez. Currently he's out shopping, we just got a location. We'll shadow him and get what we can. We'll just be normal kids, you two will be boyfriend and girlfriend and I'll be the lone ranger. Only you can teach him, I'll get too impatient and I suck at explaining things. He lives in downtown Fort Worth, so it shouldn't take long. we should get going though." He said as he got up and walked out the front door. We live in Dallas so it shouldn't take so long to get there.

"Hmmm... so I get to kiss you and not get pummeled by your overprotective body guards, I like this job already." Josh whispered as we walked out the front door.

"I bet you do. Pervert." I mumbled the last part but he still heard and placed his hand over his heart in mock hurt. I just rolled my eyes, chuckled, and walked to Drew's black Expedition. He was already in the driver's seat so I got in the passengers side making Josh go to the back. I stuck out my tongue childishly and sat in my seat.

Then we were off. I wonder how important this Sergio guy really is. And just how much information we were going to have to get from him. Well this will be interesting, it always is.
