7) Home? With me?

RECAP

"Of course." We said in unison. And just then the bell rang signaling the end of W.H. and the beginning of lunch.

Yay. Lunch time... I thought with heavy sarcasm.

7) Home? With me?

We all got up and started for the door. I was walking alongside Gabby and Josh. All of a sudden she stops me and whispers "go with Mr. hottie. I'll just walk with Melanie." with a wink and then she walked off with Melanie on her side. Okayyy? Josh and I were the last ones out of the class.

"So... when do you want to catch up with our stuff?" asked josh when we were walking out of the class.

"Well I don't wanna do it during lunch."

"So after school then."

"Yeah. but where?"

"Ummm... I could go home with you? if you want if not then that's fine."

"Home? with me?" I said thinking it over. Well my parents aren't home, and when we're done I can invite the guys over and we can swim or play some games.

"Yeah... only if you want though" he said looking nervous.

"That's fine. but I have two conditions."

"And those would be...?"

"One. You have to eat lunch with me and my friends so that they can trust me when I say you're a good guy and that you're not going to murder me or something. They're stupid. Anyways. Two. after we're done brainstorming and whatnot you stay, and I invite my friends over. We can go swimming or play games. Deal?" I asked with a hopeful look on my face.

He seemed to be thinking it over but finally he said "Fine" and we turned to continue walking because somewhere in our discussion we had stopped.

When we did this, we saw everyone in the hallway looking at us and when we walked they made a path for us. I groaned in annoyance and I heard Josh give an exasperated sigh. Deciding to give them something to look at I turned to Josh. I'm guessing he saw the look on my face because he smirked and nodded. With his approval I linked my arm through his earning many gasps from the crowd and, once again, glares from the entire female population and even some guys too. Most of the guys were glaring at Josh though. I don't think I'm that pretty. I thought. Josh is super handsome though, so I understand the girls. Even with him just wearing a plain black shirt, regular blue jeans, black leather jacket, messy hair (which made him look even sexier), and blue vans. Hey they match my converse today! After my little rambling session I looked straight ahead and continued walking with my arm still linked through Josh's.

Once in the cafeteria, having earned more gasps, glares, and tons of whispers from practically EVERYONE, he turned and asked "So what do you want for lunch today m'lady?"

"I just want an apple, so I'll go wherever you go and you can get me a green apple. Yes?"

"Sure weirdo."he said with a chuckle. I just smiled and let him lead the way. We were waking towards the hamburger line so I guess he wanted a burger today. As we got closer, I noticed that my jock lunch buddies were there.

"Hey guys" I said when we were in line. There were about 5 people between us, but when they saw me, they immediately went to where I was.

"Hey baby, what's up?" asked Ismael. I felt Josh tense up a little but I shrugged it off.

"Nothing. Just getting lunch. Hey guys Josh's gonna sit with us today. That's fine right?" I asked with a challenging look on my face.

"Yeah that's fine babe" answered Drew not wanting to have a repeat of the morning. Again Josh tensed a little more. This time I looked up to find him looking straight ahead. That's weird.
