Rescue and police crews were on the scene, I stood next to Dean as a paramedic tended to Sam's shoulder. Andy was talking to three police officers "He shot himself. And you all saw it happen," Andy told them

"Yeah. We did," An officer said. We all observed the spectacle

"Look at him. He's getting better at it," Dean noted

Andy came over to us after passing the ambulance "She won't even look at me,"

"Yeah, she's pretty shaken up," Sam observed

"No, it's, this is different. It's uh, I never, I never used my mind thing on her before. Before last night. She's scared of me now,"

"Hey, Andy, I hate to do this, but um, we have to get out of here. Here. I wrote down my cell. You don't have to be alone in this, all right? If anything comes up, just call me up,"

"What-what am I supposed to do now?" Andy asked us

"You be good, Andy." I told him "Or we'll be back," I flashed my eyes for extra measure and we walked away.

"Looks like I was right," Sam told us

"About what?"

"Andy. He's a killer after all,"

"No, he's a hero. He saved his girlfriend's life, he saved my life," Dean explained

"Bottom line, last night, he wasted somebody,"

"Yeah, but he's not a foaming-at-the-mouth psycho. He was just, he was pushed into that," I told Sam

"Weber was pushed too, in his own way. Max Miller was pushed. Hell, I was pushed by Jessica's death,"

"What's your point, Sam?"

"Right circumstances, everyone's capable of murder. Everyone. You know, maybe that's what the demon's doing. Pushing us. Finding ways to break us,"

I must have flinched because I felt Dean's protective hand on my shoulder.

"Sam, we don't know what the demon wants, okay? Quit worrying about it," Dean scolded

"You know, I heard you before, Dean when Andy made you tell the truth. You're just as scared of this as I am," Sam argued

"That was mind control! I mean, it's like, like, that's like being roofied, man, that doesn't count,"

"What?"

"No. I'm, I'm calling do-over,"

"What are you, seven?" I asked Dean

"Doesn't matter. Look, we've just gotta keep doing what we're doing, find that evil son of a bitch and kill it,"

"Yeah, I guess," Sam muttered.

Dean's cell rang "Hello? Ellen. What's going on? Yeah, we'll be right there,"

We were sitting at the bar, Ellen behind it while Jo was walking around. "Jo?"

"Hmm?" Jo hummed

"Go pull up another case of beer,"

"Mom..."

"Now. Please," When Jo left, Ellen leaned on the bar in front of us "So. You uh, you want to tell me about this last hunt of yours?"

I looked down

"No. Not really." Dean told her "No offense, it's just kind of a family thing,"

"Not anymore," Ellen said.

I looked up when Ellen dropped a stack of papers on the bar.

"I got this stuff from Ash. Andrew Gallagher's house burnt down on his six month birthday, just like your house. You think it was the demon both times, don't you? You think it went after Gallagher's family?"

"Yeah, we think so," Sam admitted

"Sam..." Dean warned

"Why?" Ellen questioned

"None of your business," this time I nudged Dean in the gut.

Ellen helped me through a lot, she knew my secret...and took care of me when the boys left me behind so they could visit their mom's grave. "You mind your tongue with me, boy. This isn't just your war, this is war. Now, something big and bad's coming and it's coming fast, and their side holds all the cards. Now, at best all we got is us. Together. No secret's or half-truths here,"

"There are people out there, like Andy Gallagher, like me. And um...we all have some kind of ability," Sam explained

"Ability?"

Dean rolled his eyes

"Yeah. Psychic ability. Me, I have, um, I have visions. Premonitions. I don't know, it's, it's different for everybody. The demon said he had plans for people like us," Sam said

"What kind of plans?" Ellen asked

"We don't really know for sure," I told her

"These people out there, these psychics...they dangerous?"

I shook my head "No. Not all of them,"

"But some are. Some are very dangerous," Sam added

"Okay, how many of them are we looking at?" Ellen questioned

"We've been able to track a clear pattern so far. They've all had house fires on the night of the kid's six month birthday," Dean stated

"That's not true," I said

"What?" everybody looked at me

"Weber? Or Ansen Weems, or whatever his name is...I looked at his files, and there was no house fire. There's nothing out of the ordinary,"

"Which breaks the pattern. So if there are any others like him, there'd be nothing in the system. No way to track 'em all down," Sam said

"And so who knows how many of 'em are really out there?" Dean muttered

"Jo honey?" Ellen called out

"Yeah?" Jo asked

"You'd better break out the whiskey instead," Ellen told her
