Born Under A Bad Sign Pt. 3

 Jo started coming to as Selina tied her to a wooden post "What the hell is going on? What are you doing?"

Selina ignored her question "So what exactly did your mom tell you about how your dad died?"

"You're not Selina,"

"Don't be so sure about that. Answer the question,"

Jo didn't reply and Selina sighed heavily, walking to face her.

Selina pulled out a large knife and stroked Jo's face with it "Come on. It's me. You can tell me anything, you know that. Answer. The question,"

"Fine," Jo spat

"Fine,"

"John and my dad were in California: Devil's Gate Reservoir. They were setting a trap for some kind of hellspawn. John was hiding waiting, and my dad was bait,"

Selina laughed "That's just like John. Oh, I'll bet he dangled Bill like meat on a hook. Then what?" she stood up and went behind Jo.

"The thing showed up. John got too eager, jumped out too soon, got my dad exposed, out in the open. The thing turned around...and killed him,"

"Hmm. Not quite,"

"What?"

"What? Oh. See, it hurt him. It didn't kill him. You really don't know the truth, do you? I bet your mom doesn't either," Selina faced Jo again, leaning in close

"Know what?"

"You see, Bill...was all clawed up. Was holding his insides in his hands. He was gurgling and...praying to see you and Ellen one more time. So John...killed him. Put him out of his misery like a sick dog,"

Jo began sobbing "You're lying,"

"I'm not. It's true. Their daddy shot your daddy in the head..." Selina singsonged

"How could you know that?"

Selina stood up "I hear things," she stabbed the knife into the pillar, just above Jo's head.

"Why are you doing this to me?"

"Like Daddy like daughter. You are bait. Open up," Selina shoved a knotted rag into Jo's mouth and tied it around her neck "That's a girl," The door burst open as Sam and Dean entered, guns out.

"Selina!" Dean called out

Selina grabbed the knife from the pillar, her expression shifting to one of desperate panic as she placed the knife at Jo's throat. "I begged you to stop me, Dean,"

"Put the knife down," Sam told her

"I told you I can't fight it!" Selina shouted "My head feels like it's on fire, all right?! Kill me, or I'm going to kill her. Please. You'd be doing me a favor! Shoot me," She turned to face the boys, arms spread "Shoot me!"

"No, Selina," Dean said as he lowered the gun

Selina shook her head "What the hell's wrong with you, Dean? Are you that scared of being alone that you'd rather let Jo die?"

Dean turned suddenly and flung water from a flask at Selina, the water hissing and steaming as it struck her.

Selina's eyes flashed black, as she pushed the boys back and ran through the window fleeing. Dean following close behind as Sam released Jo.

"She was already a demon...Sam what's going on?!" Jo demanded but Sam left her to follow Dean "Sam!"

Dean followed Selina into a warehouse, hiding behind piles of boxes "So who are you?"

"I got lots of names," Selina said

"You've been in Selina since she disappeared, haven't you?"

"You should have seen your faces when you thought she murdered that guy. Pathetic,"

"Why didn't you kill me and Sam? You had a dozen chances,"

"Nah, that would have been too easy. Where's the fun in that? You see, this was a test. Wanted to see if I could push you far enough to waste Selina. Should've known you wouldn't have the sack. Anyway. Fun's over now,"

"Well, I hope you got your kicks. 'Cause you're gonna pay hell for this, I'm gonna make sure of that,"

"How? You can't hurt me. Not without hurting your little sister."

Dean put his gun away and pulled out the flask of holy water

"See, I think you're gonna die, Dean. You, Sam, and every other hunter I can find. One look at Selina's Dewey, sensitive eyes? They'll let me right in their door,"

Dean followed as Selina headed outside. He looked around the dock, Selina stepping out and shooting Dean in the shoulder. He fell into the water with a splash, Selina peered over where Dean fell and smiled.
