Christmas and new years

-1 month later-

Adele's POV:

Everything has been going perfectly fine, my uncle is paying slightly more attention towards me and i havent got in trouble yet. And today is christmas eve, im spending christmas with everyone, everyone being. Me, Justin, uncle, Pattie, Caitlin and Christian, Caitlin's and Chris' parents had to go to los angeles for some job thing so they wouldnt be home this chrismas so they were with us.

Shannon had been nice to me lately, well nice i mean not getting in my way and i've even seen her smile at me? Its really strange.

"Guys go to bed its nearly midnight" Pattie said, us four were all up in Justin's room.

"Yeah we will, later" Justin chuckled.

"What have you got me?" Justin asked me.

"Whats makes you say i got you anything?"

"If you didnt i would have to throw you in the pool" i gasped. "Im joking but yougot me something right?"

"Obviously, it was hard to choose, Caitlin knows what it is" I smiled. "And you got me?"

"Im not telling you, just wait and see"

"Guys" Caitlin said, pointing to Chris who was asleep on the bed, we laughed.

"I guess we should go to sleep."

"Can i sleep in your room? Chris is like on my bed" Justin said.

"Fine whatever" I said as we all got up and walked out, we went our seperate ways as me and Justin walked into my room. We were spending Christmas at mine, Justin was a little put off by that but i didnt care.

-Christmas Day-

"Aw its so cute!" Caitlin said as she opened up her presents, i smiled.

"Glad you like it"

Once they opened up their presents, Justin opened his, he left mine till last. "Wheres yours?" He asked me.

"Outside, it wouldnt fit in the house" I said, he gave me a confused look as he got up and walked outside, i followed him, i, well me and my uncle brought him a car, but he said i could say it was from me.

"Thank you so so so much" he was speechless, he hugged me and kissed my cheek. "Your present now" He said, taking my hand and tugging me back in the room, he got out the smallest box ever, i could tell what everyone behind me was thinking.

"Here" he smiled as he handed it over, i opened it and took out the ring. "Its a promise ring" Everyone 'aww'd'. "Its got forever on the inside so it will make a mark on your finger"

"Thank you" I said as i jumped on him and hugged him.

"Im so lucky to have you" I smiled.

So we had christmas lunch, all Justin wanted to do was drive the car, he took a test a while back its just everyone forgot and he never got a car, now hes got one hes ecstatic about going out in it. Pattie and uncle said no, not today anyway.

"So next week is new years and we're all going out for dinner, your mom and dad too" Pattie said to Caitlin and Christan. "We'll all be together" She smiled.

-3 Days Later-

"Hey i found this on the table, is it Megan's number?" Uncle asked me as i took the piece of paper from his hands, a number that was written in bold black writing which i did not recongise. 

"Uh no, i'll go text it" I said going up the stairs to my phone, i sat on my bed next to Megan, she came round for the day as i was lonely.

"Whos number?"

"I have no idea, my uncle found it he wondered if it was yours"

"Nope"

"Im gonna text it" I said.

"Hey" I put, the reply was quick.

"Hey baby;) Miss me?;)" Me and Megan looked at each other in shock, who could this possibly be?

"Should i go along with it?"

"Yeah do it"

"Yeah, you wanna meet up one day?:)"

"How about new years eve? Im busy all the other days, i'll meet you at starbucks and maybe you can come round mind for some fun?;)"

"Yeah course;)"

"We'll make this better than last time;)<3" I chose not to reply to that.

"Okay firstly why is that number in my house, secondly whos number is it and thirdly who is it thats texting"

"Im sure its some girlfriend texting a boyfriend i dont know"

"It didnt sound like they were going out, it sounded secretive, i dont know, maybe i should ask Justin"

"No no, the less people that know the better, me and you will go meet her on new years eve and just say there was a mix up and we're sorry yeah?"

"I guess but what will i say? Uncle wont let me out on new years eve"

"Just say its important"

"Yeah fine"

-New years eve-

"Its cold" 

"I know, do you think shes coming?"

"It was probably one of the boys playing a joke on us, lets go" As i turned i saw Shannon. "Wait, do you have Shannon's number?"

"Yeah why?" 

"Look please" As she did, i looked at the number on the piece of paper. Oh god. 

"We cant go over to her"

"Why not? We have to ask her now the hell her number ended up in my house!" I said walking over to her, she jumped when she saw me.

"W-What are you doing here?"

"Oh just looking around for this" I said, holding the piece of paper up.

"How did you get that?"

"It was in my house, found it on the floor, i was wondering how it got there"

"Maybe you should ask your boyfriend that"

"Whats that supposed to mean?"

"I dont want to ruin your relationship but it looks like hes already done that, tell him im not done with him, he liked the way i treated him the other day, he can get so much more from me, probably why hes cheating on you"

"Liar"

"Did you think i would text him like that? Face the truth hun, he doesnt love you"

"Come on lets go" Megan said, dragging me away.
