"Monday, wake up!" I heard the voice of Damien say. I was in the backseat of his car. I muttered something that even I couldn't understand. He helped me up out of the car and I fell back asleep. By time I woke up again I was in my bed. I was woke up by knocking on my door. "Yes?" I said in a drowsy voice. The door opened and walked in with a glass of Orange juice and a sub that the kitchen staff had made. He handed it to me and I took it. I sat up and started to bite into the sandwich. "Damien told me what happened." He said. I suddenly got a slight rush of anxiety. Damien told Bruce that he had taken me to The Joker. "I can explain," I said, then Bruce cut me off.
"I know what Pam did. She drugged your Soda." He said. I was so confused.
"What?" I asked.
"Everything is being taken care of though don't worry about anything, just eat this and then go back to bed and sleep off the hangover you are having." He said. He handed me the orange juice and walked out of the room. He poked his head back in the room and said, "If you need anything Alfred is right down the hall." He said then closed the door and left.
I sat there and ate the sub and drank the juice that Bruce left for me. I picked up my phone and checked the time. 11:02 pm. I went to my texts and texted Damien even though he was only downstairs.
"Hey, can you come to my room?" I typed then sent the text. Within a minute I got a text back.
"Yeah sure be there in a moment." He replied.
After that I put on some music and clicked off my phone. The music came through my surround sound Bluetooth speakers and filled the room. The first song to play was Sara by Altessa then after that the rest of the selected playlist played. Finally Damien came in my room and sat on the foot of my bed facing me. We set in silence except for the music playing. "My mom isn't dead," I finally said, "Damien you have to help me find her! Please Damien help me find my mom!" I said not too forceful because of the headache I had. The Joker or Damien one had drugged me. My money was on Jonas.
Damien stared at me for a moment. "I'll help you Monday." He said. For a moment I stared at him, not sure of what he had just said. "R-really?" I asked in disbelief. Damien nodded and smiled. I know you'd the same for me if my mother wasn't really dead but thought to be." He said. He was right. I would help him. I looked at him and a wide smile crossed my face. "What?" he said laughing, I smiled bigger. What if Bruce finds out that he's helping me though? I thought. He may not like that I'm trying to find my mom, more or less that I found out he lied to me about her being dead. My smile soon faded as these thoughts crossed my mind. Damien stopped laughing and looked at me. "What's wrong Money?" he asked.
"What if Bruce finds out?" I asked.
"He won't, I swear." He replied. I nodded and said my thanks to him before he left my room.
Soon after Damien left my room it was 1:30 am. I groaned loudly and realized how tired I was. I got up and turned on the fan in my room and turned off the light and fell asleep once more as if I haven't had enough sleep already.
