The Next Day

I woke up drenched in sweat clutching the pillow that was next to me. I felt the dry tears that had ran down my cheeks while I was having that awful dream. My alarm clock was going off and I had an awful headache, probably due to crying in my sleep. I threw the pillow at the alarm clock. I groaned louder when I heard knocking on my door. "Go away Bruce, I'm up!" I yelled. The door slowly opened and Damien poked his head in.

"It's just me Money." He said slightly smiling. I let out a sigh of relief.

"Can you turn off my alarm clock please?" I said pointing at it. He smiled and nodded. He walked over to the alarm clock and turned the alarm off. I smiled,

"Thank you" I said. Then I clapped three times causing the big light to turn on. A bright neon blue, pink, red and orange light filled my room. I got up out of my bed and looked at "Damien, you are a lifesaver." I said. He smiled and laughed.

"Get dressed we have to go." He said and then left my room.

I went to my closet and opened the door. I walked in the closet. It was so big it could be considered another bedroom. I walked across the closet and found my shoes. I picked up a pair of knee high boots. One boot had red laces and one boot had black laces. I walked out of my closet and lay the boots on my bed. I walked back in my closet. I looked through the racks of clothes. I finally found the pair of jeans I was looking for. Black jeans with the two Chanel C's on the front right upper leg. I pulled them off of the clothes hanger and layed it on my bed.

Finally after five minutes I found the right outfit. I quickly got dressed and left my room with my bags. I walked downstairs of the manor and ran into Alfred. "Hello Ms. Quinnzel" he said.

"Hey Alfred what's up?" I replied.

"Nothing," he paused, "better get going to school, see you later Monday."

"See ya' Alfred." I called after him as he walked the opposite way down the hall.

"Come on Monday we are going to be late!!" I heard Damien yell from downstairs. I was half way downstairs when I heard him call me. I plugged my head phones into into my phone and put my headphones in my ears. I walked out the door with my bag on my shoulders and my phone in my hand and got into the car with Damien. He started the engine and we drove off headed to school

                                                                                              ...

We got to school and I soon started to look for Pam. I needed to talk to her; I needed to see why she did that for me. I had to know. I stared into the crowd looking for Pam. Soon I saw her red headed pony tail and made my through the crowd to her. I finally made it to her and I tapped her on her shoulder. She turned around and looked at me and smiled. "Hey Monday, what's up?" she said.

"Nothing," I trailed off, "Can I talk to you?"

"Sure." She replied.

"Can you meet me at the Chinese place on main after school?" I asked

"Totally" she said

"Thanks." I said then walked away.

The day dragged on since I asked Pam to talk to me after school. Everything was so slow. It really bothered me a lot. I didn't know how I was going to ask her why she did it. I didn't know how I was going to thank her. She came up to me at lunch and gave me her number so I could text her incase anything changed. I texted her after school and told her it was me. "Hey Pam its Monday, we still meeting up after school?" I texted her. Soon I got a reply,

"Yeah, but can you come over to my place? My mom said I couldn't go out today."

"Yeah sure that's fine... text me the address?" I sent back to her. She sent me the address and I was on my way.
