Chapter 9- The perks of having feelings

This chapter is back to when Liz and Zack visit Luke. Enjoy loyal reader :D Oh you royalness ;3 with all you royalnessing wafting around.... haha im sorry i know im weird... ok continuing story!

The present:

Luke's POV:

As soon as she opened the door, her scent wafted though the room. She and I are few of the remaining shifters in the world.  It's weird. Don't judge. We can smell each other... if we allow ourselves to. That's not at all creepy so stop with your cruel judgement!

My heart aches as I watch her go through the door with another man. Oh the irony! It has to be cruel fate to meet again this way! My beloved girl-who-I-met-5-years-ago! You are still engraved in my mind! When I first saw you and you changed grafully like a swan into the glorious and gorgeousness white tiger!  Oi mi corazón (heart)! Wait, this is not a TV drama! Stop it me!

I slapped myself before she noticed I was there in the darkness of my corner. It stung a little but I didn't care.  There she was in all her splendor!! All her gorgeous emo-styled charm!!

Ughghghg my eyes can't handle this much beauty!! She looks more beautiful than I last saw her! Oh, my soul! Oh, my glorious rants!! Will they never stop?!

I straightened myself in my chair as I came back to reality and heard Zack talking.

"Ok! Good 'cause there he is!"

I felt as though everything was going in slow motion as she jumped out of Zack's arms and race towards me. Her hair was flapping in the breeze like a mermaid's. Her eyes glistened in the light like two newly baked honey-glazed hams. Then I saw her lips. They were the color of freshly squeezed grapes.

That poor girl! She must have been freezing!! Curse you Zack for not taking care of her properly!

Slow motion went back to normal time when she began to speak with that outrageously melodious loud tone of hers that I missed.

"askdjak!!Omg! I didn't see you there! Hi Luke! Nice to meet you! My name is Liz!!"

I looked confused and took a step backwards confounded. She didn't recognize me?! Oh, my heart!! Oh... well I'll just pretend to not know her. I guess it's better this way... oh... shut your trap and be a man me!

I couldn't let her see me cry. I faked a smile and let out all my saddened heartful feelings with my shout.

"I love your enthusiasm!"

"Thank you!! I love how you understand me!!!"

That one comment made me feel warm and fuzzy inside. I wanna hug her.

"That makes three of us!"

Don't test me Zack! I will attack you if neede!

Then I heard a beautiful comeback.

"Quiet Ziggy!! I'm trying to have a civilized conversation!"

You tell him girl!!

I smiled, then I narrowed my eyes at Zack and bit my lip to hold back my would-be-insult towards him when he covered Liz's mouth and shouted.

"What now baby!!"

I wanted to punch the lights out of Zack for touching her but I changed my mind when I saw that he was making her lips look like a goldfish.  I couldn't hold in my laughter.

"You guys sure get along well." I chucked.

I winked at Liz and smirked when she giggled. Her giggle just made my day.

She is just too cute!!

I put my hands up in surrender when Zack growled at me..

Really man? Again? Why does she have to be with Zack!?! Maybe their just friends? Hopefully?

My thoughts got interrupted when Zack threw a random cream-puff at me.

Where'd that even come from? 

I wiped the cream off my face and at it.

So good! I want more!!

"Hey dude! Long time no see!! Give me more junk food!"

He let go of Liz tackled me to the floor.

"Never!! Theye weren't on sale!"

Holy crap he's heavy and has muscles! Not as muscly as me though are you?! In your face! 

"Hey sup dude? Wanna get some cowflesh later?"

Zack's eyes lit up at once.

"Wooh! Let's do it!"

"Stop yelling in my ear, you baffoon!!"

"OH! Sorry man..."

I dusted myself off when Zack decided to finally get off me.

"Hey Luke!"

My head swivelled towards the beautiful source immediately.

"Yes?"

"We have a couple of questions for you."

A light bulb blew up in my brain.

Oh, hello! How could I forget this? That's why you guys are here! Here I am just standing here dreaming about the girl I've been waiting to meet again and here she is and i'm going off topic again...

I went over to her, placed my arm around her and led her to the couch. It was a fluffy couch that I thought she might enjoy. As I sat next to her, Zack growled again.

Oh shut up dude. 

I noticed Liz didn't notice because she was too busy entertaining herself by bouncing on the couch cushion. I laughed and bounced with her. She's so funny. Zack came over and growled again looking down at us.

I raised my eyebrows. I lifted the now confused Liz on to my lap and hugged her.

This is the best feeling ever!! She's so warm!

My happy thoughts sadly came to an end when Zack tickled me under my armpits so I would loosen my grip and he rudely stole her away from me.

"Cut it out man! I just wanted a hug!"

"You can hug your grandma!"

"But she's not here genious!"

"Then deal with it!"

"Never!"

"Come at me bro!!

"You first you weenie!"

Zack came at me with his fist. I countered and threw him a round-house kick. I hit my target. He fell to the floor and clutched his side. He reached out to Liz.

"Liz! Come save me from this lunatic!"

"I can't! I'm having too much fun watching you two!"

"You are a cruel woman!"

"I never said I was nice!"

That's a pity.

"You were nice to Luke though!"

Ahaaa!! Beatcha Zack! She likes me better!!

"Can't you save your own boyfriend?"

I fell to my knees in shock and defeat. B-b-boyfr-frieend???? Noooo!!

The shock was apparently too much for me because I fainted. How lame is that? Narrator!! Don't I get a say in this?? Stop making me look like a pansy!!

This concludes chapter 9 with Luke's romantic depression.
